Medium Rare Steak with a side of fries, found @ Josie Wyatt’s up in Hoodoo hotel from Moab, Utah!

Put it all in a blender and make steak fries

Maybe cook the fries a tad more ao they are actually crisp, and add salt.

That looks like an undercooked sausage

Where's the béarnaise? You can't have steak frites without béarnaise!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Needs Salt 'N Pepper on the fries.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'd refuse to eat that from a wooden platter. Nasty.

Utah never was known for good food

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Half a meal and barely cooked

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is like the $7 Friday steak special. Not that I'm making fun.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's noiiice!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

if you found it, I'd leave it alone, you don't know why the person who bought it left it

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this that planksteak Sweden keeps yammering about?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you for it being medium rare and not rare. Would have accepted done, and sorta well done.

Where's Patton's 48 potato bacon bombs and bottomless trough of fried dough?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why the fuck do people serve shit on wood?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No coleslaw?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Why no salad? Are people that against a good steak, salad and chips???

4 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

Arugula is the nuts with some steak frites. And a nice blue cheese compote.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If Utah wasn’t Utah l would totally go there. And I’m from Az. Same deal. Moved on though.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Steak Frites would be my last meal

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You should try to stay away from it then.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It ain't honest work, but it's...

He said, "A STEAK AIN'T A STEAK, UNTIL IT'S BEEN COOKED INTO CHARCOAL!"

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

why would you say that?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nah I’ve always loved my steak medium rare. No matter what. I want something reminding me how amazing my wife feels.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 8

Try a rusty cheese grater

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Goddamn. I haven't had a good, proper steak in three or four years. Enjoy the hell outta that beauty for me.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Where are you?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That seems like a small meal. Can I have some fried shrooms, grilled asparagus, caesar salad and a giant beer with that?

4 years ago | Likes 203 Dislikes 6

And a little too cooked for my liking

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Doesn't look too bad. You want rare or blue?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll just have more steak and more fries with it

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's good too but not enough variety for me. I need like 5 different foods on each plate

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You and I would get along

When the bill comes:

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Freaking out about the tip?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

True, I usually just make steak at home

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Caesar salad, how about a whole head of OF LETTUCE!!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hahah

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

American.

4 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 6

Eww! No, my suggestions were vegetables. I resent that! Hahaha

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I never said I was insulting you. But the fact that you got defensive and insulted when I said ‘America’ makes me think things about America

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hahah nah I was just kidding. I'm canadian

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sure! Everything but the beer. It is Utah after all

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Funnily enough, Utah has some excellent breweries with names hand-crafted to trigger Mormons. Check out Captain Bastard or Polygamy, v nice

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Polygamy Porter bring some home for the wives.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I used to live near Bohemian in Midvale. Wonderful place.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

American?

4 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 12

Eww, no hahaha my suggestions were vegetables

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I don't know, that seems like a lot of vegetables for an American.

4 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 1

There's nothing wrong with a little fast food once or twice a meal.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

As an American, I can concur

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure that's just continental food that gets eaten almost everywhere.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

I believe it's the volume not the content that inspired the question

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I just need variety in every meal

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can eat just a little for each side dish. I always keep a wide variety of frozen veggies. Quick defrost and everything goes in the pan

Put It on a Plate https://youtu.be/cX4KuEAYIYY

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I want less dishes

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Eh... it's a wooden plate. Not all plates have to be ceramic.

4 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 15

It's a fucking cutting board and you know it.

4 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 6

It has an inset with curves and sharp edges, it would be a pain in the everloving ass to actually use this as a cutting board, so no

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 5

Cutting boards tend to be flat without raised edges.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Given as how I'd be cutting up every bite of steak, great! I hate the sound of knives on plates

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You’re supposed to stop when you reach the plate.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's the knives of others I'm worried about. I've got Tad Williams playing on audibook as i type, in case that's your namesake

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unhygienic, idiotic and pretentious to serve food on wood.

4 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 15

Maple wood has been proven to have antimicrobial properties, and could be formed in a way to make it easy to clean

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

eh... wood has natural defenses against microbes that make wooden cutting boards superior, but still, it's a cutting board, not a plate.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 17

So your claim is that a wooden platter is more hygenic than a ceramic plate because of "natural defence"?

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 5

How many fucking times have you seen a glazed ceramic cutting board?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 9

Why, in a discussion of plates, are you bringing in the topic of a ceramc cutting board?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

No, I'm obviously not. Ceramic plates are glazed and have no pits for food to hide.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 8

What's idiotic about it? People have been using wood for thousands of years. And with our modern sanitisers and cleaning products I really..

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Struggle to see the unhygienic side of it too. At least in the confines of your home cooking which this appears to be? Sure, fuck wood in...

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

A restaurant settibg where thousands of people end up eating from the same plank but in your own home? Simmer down bud

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And I immediately retract the looking home cooked part as I scrolled straight past the description ?. Maintaining the general notion though
