I got to see one live once. Jesus it's brutal.

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I’d probably break more than just one bone trying that even without any competitors.

Canadian mating rituals are really weird.

JUST watched this.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Y'all remember the freak accident where an ice skate cut a goalie's throat? That's all my mind is foreseeing

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Why is “Indeed” sponsoring this event? After you Break your bones, we ll help you find new career?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Canadians tryin to get to the Liquor Store before it closes. /s

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Having not seen Squid Game, I can only assume this is the final challenge.

4 years ago | Likes 193 Dislikes 3

You should see it. I think about that show every day and I watched it weeks ago. Well written yet horrifying.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Nah the squid is for hockey games. Good guess tho.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I wish.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In the Quebec games yes.

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

le jeu du calmar.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The gif section sucks I just wanted a funny missing finger gif but they all just gave me the finger

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love the "Indeed" at the back like its some high culture shit

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would love to do this. To bad it's so damn hard to get into. There is a big line up to try it.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s like breaking your bones is part of the sport

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fucking LOVE downhill Ice!

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Me seeing the track for the first time before the race: “So does anyone ever fall during the race?”

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Incoming nope brigade!

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've seen this live. Canadians. Gotta love em

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They get up pretty fast after wipe outs. Prolly cuz they know more dudes with knife feet coming

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

AKA 'So, how did you get that scar?"

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah, the old Fuck Around and Find Out, Clint Malarchuk style.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

What could go wrong?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Those blades are way too close to others' Achilles tendons for me

4 years ago | Likes 107 Dislikes 3

I'm more worried about fingers. I played hockey with a kid we called 9 1/2 cause someone stepped on one of his fingers during practice

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fingers and throat. Fingers may not get cut off but they break easily

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kevlar socks are a good defence

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As Mr Karlsson found out

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most if not all of the Achilles is covered by the boot. The rest looks like decently thick padding probably similar to a hockey players 1/

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

The padding also makes it real hard to get cut. It's why you don't see hockey players legs get cut up every time they crash.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You dont watch hockey, huh?

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

First thing I thought, so many chopped fingers.

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I miss watching those...

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There’s gotta be some fingers sliced off at some point during this race.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Crashed ice... this is Alberta, saw it when it was in St Paul, pretty fun to watch live.

4 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

I thought “this is the most Canadian thing I’ve ever seen” then I saw your comment. Confirmed!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A huge thing in Minnesota

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hey! I wasn't able to actually go, but I could see the St paul one from certain windows at work!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My boyfriend is part of the union that builds the courses for Crashed Ice! Hi from MN ?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Had that in Quebec too for couple years

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This video is actually from St. Paul. You can see the Holiday and Polaris ads, both of which are Minnesota companies.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You can see flashes of the Capital building and the Cathedral in the background

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hullo, fellow Albertan. Crashed Ice is even better in person, so much yelling!

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Sorry, I am in the Twin cities, saw a banner on the course that said Alberta, I have been to Crashed ice in St Paul.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hate your knees? Have I got a sport for you

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They all wear padding. It's a must for physical contact skating. Ice = concret

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Y’all remember Clint Malarchuck?

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He OK though, right?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That shit is so brutal just that picture makes me nauseated thinking about the video.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This would be awesome to try a practice run when there wasn't a course full of other people whipping knife feet around

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now show us the Zamboni resurfacing that thing!

4 years ago | Likes 294 Dislikes 0

That ice has 38” deep ruts in it. Ain’t no bony gonna fix that homie.

I'm just picturing the driver doing a kickflip

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It better have a roll cage!

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It would have to be massive

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

its just a hamster wheel of zambonis strapped together.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Orthopedic surgeons love this one weird sport.

4 years ago | Likes 1073 Dislikes 0

We have that thing in St Paul all the time. Maybe they host it here because Mayo is so close.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Regions has a level 1 trauma center and its just down the block!!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

plastic surgeons love it too. i mean what could possibly go wrong if you fall in front of a bunch of guys with blades on their feet

4 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Ankles hate this ONE trick, you won't believe what it is...

4 years ago | Likes 71 Dislikes 0

Wish I could roll joints as well as I roll my ankles

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol you made me laugh

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
