"African-Canadian" is considered presumptuous unless you know for certain they or their parents immigrated from Africa. 1/2

Totally! Never heard anyone use the term. Funny, considering the US is a melting pot and in Canada you can actually have dual-citizenship.

Dual citizenship is a thing in the US with certain nations. My dad had dual with France and a neighbor was Australian dual.
