Swedish Varan Teatern already did something like this, although more 90210 inspired; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRI5nKanvzk

With that level of alcohol consumption I don't understand how they haven't gone extinct already

Bad birth control.

Fun fact: “BLYATS” means “whores” in Russian when used as a noun like that.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Indeed. But when a noun it changes to ‘blyads’ actually. ‘Blyat’ is not a noun.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Blyat is a noun. Native speaker here.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No it’s not. Native speaker as well.

This looks like every apartment building I saw in Russia. They must have gotten a discount on them.

They did. They literally did. These were produced in YUGE quantities in the 1960s and 1970s. Bath&toilet in one, tiny kitchens...

That’s the great thing about communism. Everyone gets the same crappy shit

8 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

But they get if for free. And yes, there were a lot of those buildings build to satisfy the demand. New building are no worse than in the US

Gee, I can't wait.

They're Khrushchyovka! Cheap, tiny prefab apartment buildings. Not much space to live in at all, and of course poorly maintained.

We stayed in one that was decorated well but rough outside. About 7 or 800 sq ft. way cheaper and nicer than San Fran or NYC.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be fair, they are bigger than most of the apartments I've seen in San Francisco :) Can't compare to a private house, of course.
