To the father's that would do anything for their children.

Leon Gary Plauché

Both sides suffered? The guy was shot in the head and killed, not nearly enough suffering.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

Sounds like Roland needed to get the same treatment. Enabling piece of shit!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I understand why he did it but it was incredible selfies of him to do so

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No, one side suffered the other got less than what they deserved. Fuck that pedo

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

He risked going to jail and his son losing his dad over getting revenge. He's a selfish idiot who got lucky. This isn't about the pedo. No one here cares that the pedo is dead.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

“Why yes society would be so much better if dads just murdered the people who harmed their daughters” - let’s not celebrate vigilante justice dudes

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

given the 3/1000 sexual assault commission to prison sentence ratio, i think it might just be a great idea if more rapists got murked.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Fuck Roland Doucet, too.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Justice was not done when Jeffrey Doucet was not sentenced to be skinned alive and rolled in a mix of broken glass and rusty staples. I have a cousin that has been sentenced for pedo-related crimes (Just name one, chances are he did it) and honestly I still hope that one day he dies a horrific, violent and painful death for the things he has done. Never forgive, never forget and no mercy for monsters like this.

Jeffrey Douche.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

I can not endorse this post simply because I am an adherent to the ideas of Macheticine™ so for me to use a gun would be immoral. A Machete, on the other hand...

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

MFer should be rotting in jail

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

My dad psychologically tortured me and financially abused me until I could finally break away and go no-contact. I can't imagine having a dad that cares so much about someone that they'd fight to protect them.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

To be fair, a killing like this *can* come from a dad who wants to fight to protect their kid, or it can come from a possessive instinct that treats their kid like property and doesn't want them "damaged".

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

As someone that was treated as property to be abused when I did wrong and that was bragged about to aggrandize their image when I did two, maybe three good things in my whole life, I was worth less than his fucking 1998 truck to him. Its insanely difficult for me to believe that was the case, its not impossible, sure, but that is insanely difficult for me to believe.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Jeffrey Doucet?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Do we really need all this fucking jumping through hoops and pretending? He killed him because that fucker deserved it. No excuses necessary. Go free.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

He put is want for revenge over his son's need for support. Killing him didn't magically make what that monster did go away. His son needed him to support him but he risked jail time for revenge. What if he had gotten done for murder? Now his son would have have felt guilty that if he hadn't said anything he would still have had his dad around

Probation for being jury judge and executioner?

I can imagine that the knowledge of what that man did to his son would drive anyone to want to do what he did. Some just don’t have gun licenses or access to a gun. It doesn’t mean they belong in a psych ward.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

The lawyer had a plan and it worked

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Wish more would step up.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'd have done the same to the abuser.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Couldn't tell the difference between right and wrong? I dunno... seems dude had a firm grasp on what's right.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

“…directed by what Gary sensed as the voice of Jesus…“ for when you need that insanity plea as a backup plan.

2 years ago | Likes 338 Dislikes 5

Judes should auto deny any and all defensive strategies such as God or the devil made me commanded me etc from court. Let's base our judgment on facts not fairy tails

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

This was 1985, this wouldn't really work too well now

Sure let's get rid of the rule of law and just solve everything by vigilantism. I'm sure that won't lead to any problems

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 9

LOL since the law is complete BS, I agree with you.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

That way, some DA will give them a slap on the wrist, and they continue to go out and harm more children. Maybe if everything wasn't a plea bargain these days, I would agree.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I believe this is from Mute where he plays a side character.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Alleged. Ok, ffs , you can’t take justice into your hands no matter “justified”. The alleged abductor sounds like a POS, but murdering him is bs until tried.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 27

They legally have to say alleged until the trial is over, regardless of actual knowledge of the crime, which in this case sounds like there was no doubt he was the one who committed it

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Have a kid, then have this happen to them. Then get off your high horse.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 15

Its understandable but that doesn't make it justified. A solution that renders even more victims doesn't seem like a good solution to me. (Where does it end?) Being there for his kid instead of risking being locked up in jail for decades would probably be the better choice. But I can imagine all logic an reason go out the window when something like this happens to your child. Which is why it's so important to have professionals guide and support victims of trauma.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Subjective morality is exactly why we don't let family on juries etc. It is impossible to maintain any semblance of justice without the dispassionate division of strangers looking at the allegations. Imgur can whoop about this all they like but there are people that shoot doctors to protect the unborn who claim similar rights. Be careful who you cheer for

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 4

I guess Hitler was just allegedly guilt too.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Pretty interesting your immediate response to this is to comment defending Hitler.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Defending Hitler? I was pointing out the how ridiculous it is to say that saying "allegedly" doesn't mean the person is innocent even though we have the precedent of innocent until proven guilty. Guess some people didn't get that.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Its taking it to an extreme to show an example. even if they weren't tried and sentenced guilty we still know they are guilty.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah...no ugh Jesus told me to do it though it wasn't the blind rage of finding out an old man repeatedly raped my son, not that. It was the jesus

2 years ago | Likes 158 Dislikes 5

Jesu served a purpose in this case, getting him the insanity plea.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

THE JESUS? Hmmmm

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

It's Louisiana. Far less legitimate claims have held up in court. That lawyer knew exactly what he was doing.

2 years ago | Likes 74 Dislikes 0

The rape was the reason to do it. Then some Mexican dude named Jesus gave him a proper plan how to do it.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jesus also sold him the gun

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Paid the guy $50 and got the plan on a bar napkin.

Gary:Thanks Jesus *Gary taking the gun from Jesus
Jesús: de nada.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So how do non belivers of a god get to do the same thing if needed?

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

You're a sudden temporary believer. A miracle. Prove that diddnt happen. There you go.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

"My client pleads temporary insanity on finding my child was trafficked across state lines and raped."

"We the jury find him not guilty."

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

There's always the flying spaghetti monster

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ask your lawyer.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

if anything being an atheist and still having jesus tell you to do something makes you even more insane

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I mean you can still claim Jesus told you to do it and now your a believer cause he came to you in person to tell you to kill someone.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, you see.. you do like this guys lawyer probably told him to do and lie about it.

2 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

So many people applauding the actions of this vigilante.

Regardless of their crimes, you can’t take the law into your own hands. There is a process, we have rules. Rouge gunmen are one of the worst problems this country has. There is no “good version” of the mass shooter. No morally justified gun violence.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 11

How exactly is this a "mass shooter" situation?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

People wouldn't feel helpless and turning to guns, if the court system actually handed out appropriate punishments. Instead it's a slap on the wrist.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

The public should not be turning to guns to fix what they perceive to be societies problems. Street justice is not justice. We cannot allow precedents like this to be set.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's 1980s Louisiana. The guy was low rent karate teacher arrested for kidnapping and SA on a male minor. He wasn't getting a slap on the wrist. Don't try to justify gun vigilantism by pretending the perp was getting away with it like he's some college athlete rapist. The only person getting a slap on the wrist was the dude claiming "Jesus made me do it" as his defense, and I don't think that result was much better for the justice system.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

"He was an instructor and first time offender. So he'll get 1 year probation" look at what the catholic church did for decades. Child Molestor's often re-offend and the court system fully enables them to victimize more kids.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

The Catholic Church is one of the most influential and globally powerful organizations in the history of the world.... Aaaand you came to the conclusion that the priests were getting cut deals with Catholic judges because *child molesters* are the ones that have the system rigged... Also, I'm not seeing that quote anywhere in the article. I'll admit if a gay pedo kidnapping and raping a minor during the AIDS panic was somehow ruled for 1 year probation that this might be "a Time to Kill" moment

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This, to me, is more like justice than what a court can do

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 11

What is the difference between justice and revenge?

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Potentially nothing when looking at end results. Those who whine that it isn’t typically hang their hat on revenge being a personal (and often emotional) event not sanctioned by “the state” while justice is “the state” taking action with or without the advice, consent, or consultation of the victim (or even no action at all for a number of reasons)

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Anything that puts a child rapist in the cold, hard ground is justice.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Vigilantism? On imgur?

2 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 8

It was 1985. Wouldn't happen today.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Yeah, imgur is very much pro murder when it comes to terrible people. As a pacifist that doesn't want murder for anything i get downvoted for condemning these situations.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 5

I respect you being a pacifist, but I've long admitted to myself that I'm not. I think some terrible people are better off not being around at all.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I got downvoted to hell for saying that the cops killing Ashli Babbitt was maybe not good, and cheering the cops for killing the "right" people is maybe not good.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 6

well when the "right people" is literal domestic terrorists, at they very least its understandable

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

unlike many bullshit situations where cops claim "there was no choice" in that instance they absolutely had no choice. if they let her in, she would either attack them while the rest trickled in or open the floodgates for the rest of them. considering they were literally under siege, this is about the worst example you could bring up that cops shouldn't be killing people. i agree with the notion but there they were less cops and more soldiers trying to hold the line, for lack of a better phrase.
