Me and my father in law spent the summer making one hell of a custom Bonny. There isn't much we haven't touched or modified on this bike.

Original running and driving 1959 Bonneville we picked up for 500$. The steal of a lifetime.

Most of the mounts and non 1959 parts we fabbed ourselves

The seat and mounting brackets are from a 2016 Bonneville.

One of the biggest mods we did was converting it to a dirt bike style swing arm with a singular Ducati shock. We had countless hours designing and machining it. Rides super smooth and looks insane. All the triumph guys we know have never seen anything like it.

Did I mention we powder coated every damn thing we could. The bronze powder next to the brown metallic frame looks insane in the sun

Polish everything!!!

The shock mounting system, seat brackets, headlight and speedo mounts are all hand fabbed here at our garage

Originally a 650cc engine, but it wasn't enough. Full race build engine now at 750cc with 11/1 compression and every hop up available. Makes a harley sound like a Prius.

I can't even explain how much I love this machine that we created. Countless hours and about 10, 000$ were invested into this bike. I'm gonna be sad to see it go. Wish I had more pics of the build to share but it's tough to get pics with greasy or paint covered hands. I hope yall enjoy the pics.

TL DR
Made a bike look cool and things

PM me about your bikes or cars

Wow ;)

You deserve to rip it up now you have put the effort in

Knowing very little about mechanics in general, i can see that a lot of work went into this to make it lovely. Really nice color choices too

Nice!!!

I would ride that everywhere.

I mean it's a nice bike, but why get an antique bike if you pretty much replace everything? So you can label it as a 59 Triumph?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I know what you mean but what fun is keeping something original ya know lol

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There are still a lot of old components on there. Either way it's a 59 and all the original 59 parts are still capable of going back on.

Much thanks :)

Forgive the dumb question, but how solid are the seats on these things? Always looked like one good bump'll have your balls in a drive chain

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know what you mean but there is no worry. It's solid. I'm more afraid of falling off the back lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey good lookin'

When you finish you should make a note: “huge success”. It’ll be hard to overstate your satisfaction

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Video of it running pleeeeease! ????

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I will try to get one soon. It's cold out now so I'll need a snow suit

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice work OP! Is that a Dodge Charger in the back?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah a 72 that we are building for auction as well. It's a fixer upper that's for sure.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cool. Hope you make something nice of it. Greetings from across the pond.

Not usually a motorcycle guy, but 'sploosh'

That's Awesome! You got to build a motorcycle, and build a relationship with your father-in-law at the same time.

Triumph, BSA, Norton...all good bikes but if you rode them foe a couple hours you couldn't feel your fingers.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Vibrates like a MOFO. No rubber mounting on that engine at all. Hahah

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That thing is sexy as fuck. A true craftsman.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you sir. I appreciate all props

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Will you do a post about how you built this one, please?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just for you, yes ;)

Upvoting because of Triumph. And craftmanship. And 'Makes a harley sound like a Prius.'

Totally does btw lol. I'll try to get a video of it running next time we fire it up. RIP ear bud users

Bikes like this never leak, they just mark their territory.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry to hear it is so loud. I love bikes and a good sound but i cannot stand straight pipes. Next time invest in a good muffler.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And those pipes were anything but cheap, triumph parts are expensive lol

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean it's not ridiculous. It's loud, probably the loudest I've heard. It's got a Nasty roar, and good tone. Not headache worthy though.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And i mean fuck other people enjoying their day right?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Damn right.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know nothing about motorcycles, but I can recognize amazing craftsmanship. Good fucking job!

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

Thank you so fucking much.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Bro. That custom is frikkin amazing. Was it a commission or just off the top for resale? If you werent on the map before...you are now!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And thank you. We take pride in our work.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Me and him did it just to do it. We are both car builders so it's what we do. We are hoping to resell soon bc we have so much invested.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I can see that. Your style and capability is evident. Wish I had the cash to come get it to be honest. I love it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wish I had the cash to keep it hahah

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't care much for light blue but damn that is one pretty bike nonetheless. Good on ya, mate!

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

We had a huge tractor tire in my backyard growing up, it was painted that hue of blue, so I really like the way the bike looks lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We are both still on the edge about the blue. It's different for sure but it's not what we are looking for. The blue has a bronze candy also

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Black will make you more money.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe a darker shade like Cobalt?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We were throwing around the idea of 2 toning it with a cream white or beige actually.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A champagne white would go well with that shade. IMO a beige would take it down too far but I can't say until I see it.
