Every time IQ is mentioned, I have to point out that it's a bullshit measurement. Also, if you're having trouble keeping friends it's a lot more likely that you have some unexamined character flaws than it is that "your intellectual prowess outshines" everyone

to the extent that it's a valid measure, IQ is something used on kids since education can be an uneven and non-linear process and IQ tries to account for that. if you're an adult trying to use the results of an IQ test to prove you're smart, instead of like your track record of using your supposed intelligence to accomplish things, then that's the exact same as the 40 year old with a beer gut who was the star QB in high school and keeps talking about how great they were in "the big game"
