Proportion even higher in UK. In recent years one Chow cross, one Cane Corso, one husky, all the rest were bulldogs. 22 in 2 years and the UK isn't that big. Most victims were kids.

Well, turd talker, lions are wild animals with “wild” still coursing through their entire beings. Dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years. That parallel is weak at best. Before pits, it was Rottweilers. Before Rotties was the Doberman and before THAT the big scary was a German Shepherd. Simply don’t put any dog in an unsure situation. Fatalities vs number of bites are much different. I've posted the stats in comments before, but for "bites," the most common is "unknown breed" then plummets to pits, GSD, rots, dobermans, and terriers. It also does not included non reported bites, non treated bites, etc. In short - if a dog is going to bite you, a good chance is that it will be a smaller one or a more "aggressive breed", but it may not be that bad. If a dog that bites you is going to do serious harm, it will probably come

From one of the big "scary" breeds - mainly because they have the strength and size to put serious force behind the attack. A trained pet is a happy pet. They'll know how humans interact and what to expect from them, and how to interact with them. Train your damn kids how to interact with animals, too

I said you should stop being a turd not that they were harmless. Any animal of any size has the capacity to kill. If the Pitt is not a breed to want near you, there are neighborhoods, towns even that don’t allow them within their limits because of misinformation and terrible breeding practices. You should move go be with your brethren. But do watch out for other dogs that you consider safe. Never know when the Goldies might attack

No one said they are harmless. He said "adorable." with all sience, we look at the reporting. If 8 breeds of dogs can all be considered pitts by the average person. When pitts tend to be bred more often with less regulation. When mix breeds tend to look like pitts or labs. Then the sience is all wrong. Like your list is just a list of most liked large breeds. If you hate the dog, Just say it.
