My poor dog has epilepsy..

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It burns me to see this and know that people mistreat animals still

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why, that dog just saw the change for a nice backrub and as soon as he's in position she stops. How rude.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We don't deserve dogs.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

But, but...pit bulls are killers! (Hardcore sarcasm)

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Yeah. Can you believe there are counties with catch and kill ordinances for them?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

What? Where? Sarcastic people are lovely...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Insane.

That's really sweet. I'm saddened because it could really hurt the dog a lot, but that's still better than hitting her head on the floor.

8 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 14

Nah. Pitbull’s are built like brick shit-houses.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes but he does it anyways because he's a good boy

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

have u ever wrestled with a dog before...lol

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No no i have a pit about that size and theyre like boulders. I can lay right on top of him with my full weight and he wont even wake up

8 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 0

Oh that's good to hear. Thanks. :)

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Don't worry about them. Pits are literally solid balls of muscle with a golden heart. It doesn't hurt them at all.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I would have thought a pit bull would be no softer than those wood floors to be honest. Solid muscle and very hard bones.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

Its more about head elevation over softness of what the head is resting on.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

And as happened here, it’s very hard to steal an epileptic sufferers wallet with a pitbull watching you.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Plus, solid as a pibble is, the body will still give some, diffusing the contact. A hardwood or concrete floor could easily mean bad

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

concussions or a cracked head.

Don't stop them flailing. No idea how this idea started but it's a grade A method of helping an epileptic break their arms

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Also, maybe look if the person is wearing a laminated card with medical advice around the neck etc.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've been trying for almost 5 years to get my friends to record when I have a seizure, so I can put it to the Harlem Shake. No luck so far

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Tell them to remember the words “purple cow” and keep asking q15m until return to baseline. And keep suction and Ativan at the bedside.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Know someone who died cery recently from it at the age of 27. His parents were out of the house for 1 day and he had a seizure :/

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Fuuuck, those parents are messed up for life.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yup. He was also an only child ;(

Best advice: After, let us nap. That shit's exhausting.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So can you stop it at all? Or just prevent them from hurting themselves? Also, can epileptic people not give blowjobs?

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

1) IV medication, like keppra, can stop seizures. Most people, however, can't administer it so it's best to just clear space for the

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

2)afflicted person and call for medical help. Times are also important as long lasting, severe seizures can be quite dangerous and also

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

3) point to other underlying issues.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I can't drive, but my seizures are pretty severe and I'm photosensitive... Also, DON'T try to stop it. You'll harm us/you. Keep us safe.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

So kinda just put cushion under your head and stuff like that and call 911? What about that whole “hold something in their mouth so they..”

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

911 won't be able to help right away, it's only post seizure. If possible, discuss ahead. Some won't need cares, other can go in car.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

“.. don’t bite their tongue off” thing? Cause I’ve heard people say that before too

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, don't. I've bit my tongues a few time, the tongue heals very well. You'll most likely do much worse. ^^
