I have lived through so many election disappointments. Each one seems to edge us closer to dictatorship, both Republican and Democrat. But young people want to think older people are stupid and brainwashed, while they hop on the latest feel good propaganda.
Is that what you call it when the brain turns off while awake? I've no fucking clue what happened Wednesday and Thursday. Fridays half gone, and I'm sitting here wondering wtf happened.
We can disassociate and pretend all we want, but in 65 days shit is going to start getting real. It is better for us to network and learn things from each other. We might not have electricity, the net, etc. We need to have our shit together because they have been canning food and stocking weapons for years.
I refuse to let it destroy my day to day happiness (because every else is a sh*t show). My sister and my husband and non stop talking about it - we lived it —remember!? We’ve got 4years and then some to undo all of this. I want to enjoy the few days my vagina has the few rights it still has (which is really none at this point).
I just block/mute each person who posts political activism. It helps for a few days, but Imgur has just become so bad in the last... I don't know, it has no soul and is just facebook for angry millennials.

It's also the fact that I specifically turned off politics stuff, because my feed was flooded with it and I just wanted an escape. Yet even with it turned off, still about half the posts are untagged political shit or meme dumps that sneak it in.
