This is my story, of recovery from drugs an alcohol.
This was me. (I'm the blonde) I was so controlled by my drinking and drug use, that I thought pictures like these were "cute". I was drinking a half gallon of vodka a day, and $150 in cocaine a day to stay awake.
To this day I do not know where I am in this picture or who took it. It was on my phone after a night of party hopping.
Then I started getting hurt. Not being able to walk straight, I fell face first into a glass table. I'm SO lucky it didn't cut my eye.
Bruises were also a common occurrence.
And then, I started getting seizures from withdrawing from alcohol. This back eye was the result of falling out of bed during a seizure. Not fun.
This is me now. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to rehab, and I've been clean one year and counting. I never want to go back!
