Jared and the Mill
Genre: Rock/Folk/Country
Probably one of my favourite bands. All of their songs have a different style. Personal favourites are "In Our Youth", "Breathe Me In", and "She".

The Cardboard Crowns
Genre: Rock/Punk
Not a lot to say about these guys, only because I just recently discovered them. They're from Quebec and aren't known by many. Nevertheless, they are a great group. Listen to "Pulling Teeth" and "Shut My Mouth".

Neon Dreams
Genre: Pop/EDM
Not the most appealing genres, I know. But they have a really unique type of music in every one of their songs and its fantastic. The vocals are pretty great too. Listen to their entire album "The Last of Us".

Parsonsfield
Genre: Folk/Bluegrass
I first listened to these guys when I went to go see a Broadway show called "The Heart of Robin Hood". The music in the show was entirely from their first album. They're amazing live. They use a wide variety of instruments to create sound effects and music. You might have heard their song "Weeds and Wildflowers" played during Season 6 of the walking dead. Their songs are fun, and some can also make you want to cry. Check out "Weeds and Wildflowers" and if you like that, go listen to "Love Song" and "Country Pocket".

Genre: Country
Like country music? Neither do I. However, I recently listened to these guys on a drive up to a friend's place and their music isn't nearly as bad as other country music. Their first and only album is really catchy.

Trampled by Turtles
Genre: Folk/Bluegrass/Rock
Probably one of the more popular bands on this list. If you haven't listened to them, change that right now. And if you're a fan of the Banjo, you'll like these guys. Check out "Victory", "Wait so Long" and "Codine"
"Victory": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT8gaiNVqOM
The Glorious Sons
Genre: Rock/Alternative
A newer band from Canada. If you're a fan of new-age rock, you'll like these guys. Listen to "Lightning", "Gordie", and "The Union". Or their entire album.

Kings of Leon
Genre: Rock/Alternative/Indie
If you haven't listened to Kings of Leon before, I feel bad for you. Also, who the hell hasn't listened to Kings of Leon before? Anyways, they just released their new album called "WALLS", and its just as good as their last few albums. It's a bit different from their normal stuff, but its a fresh new style. Go listen to it.

I'd add Whitney. They're pretty good.

Hey, instead of always giving one link for each artist, why not create a Youtube playlist while still giving the pics and infos?
