My flatmate is a grown man and doesn’t know how to clean up after himself. I shouldn’t have to tell someone who’s in uni and 20+ that you need to wash your dishes. Don’t plan on it either, just reflects poorly on you.

So many aggressive comments. That's not very mature either, you know.

Put his dirty dishes and any other mess he's left around in his bed...

Having a maid come once a week will do wonders for everyones sanity and you can add it into the monthly rental cost

Put them in his bed.

Too bad his room is locked

Shove his face in the pile of dirty dishes .. that'll teach him

Lmao bit drastic

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

put the dishes on his bed and say they were in the way of you cleaning your own dishes.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That’s a good idea but his room’s locked

Things you gotta live with if you want help with rent. Try telling a 20+ person they gotta shower after work

I don’t need help with rent. This is a uni accommodation

Flatmate the type that mommy always cleaned up after?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Must be. He’s from botswana so idk if maybe that’s his culture or what

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Could you ask for a change of room?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I’ve got so much shit in my flat it wouldn’t be worth it with 2 weeks to go in the semester

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Fair enough. Really annoying though.

Kick his door in and throw the dishes in.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Seem to be getting that a lot, idek what room he’s in though

Buy a 3$ tub from Walmart put his dishes in the tub and if he uses more beat him for taking your dishes

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

He's just planning to do them later. Set up cleaning shifts, turns, or some kind of routine, so he has a deadline.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

No. They’ve been in the sink for 4 days. You don’t “plan to do dishes later” you do them when you’ve finished cooking.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

See, that's where you need to do an effort to understand him. Trust me, I was like him. He's not trying to piss you off, he just has no will

Throw him out

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Really wish I could

I don't have a roommate for this reason. Except I'm the messy one and don't want to deal with a neat freak.

Lmao at least you on your own tho, that’s different than living with people

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Don't share dishes with him. All the dirty dishes are on one side of the sink allowing u to still use the sink. Calm down & clean your room.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

No, I’m not calming down. That’s fucking disgusting and embarrassing when people come over. Fuck outta here

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

Lawlz put his gross dishes in his bed. It will never happen again..

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I really would if I could. I’ve already left a note in the kitchen saying to clean up after yourself that we are all adults.

This exact scenario happened in my flat, two of my flatmates were arguing for like 5 minutes whilst there were 5 people who were high as

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1
