This little prick will still sometimes snag my fingers instead of the worms.

It was fun catching 20 crickets in my bedroom. I recommend doing it sometime.

Apparently geckos have terrible depth perception because he literally just walked right off with no hesitation.

So Blaze saw my female in the next tank over and decided he would show her his goods... Only one of them wouldn't go back in. I tried a bunch of stuff from putting ice on it to letting it soak before bringing him to the vet.

Blaze does not like being handled at the vet. He squirmed, hissed, bit... And then finally this tiny asshole noticed the vet's nose and shot a projectile poop right up it. The vet nearly dropped him. This is why I love my lizard.

The look I get every time they hear the top slide open is always my favorite part! Those big ol gorgeous eyes

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had leopard that we named cubensis (after the magic mushroom) because he had such amazing colors.

Blaze sounds a lot like my leogeckos. But neeeeeveeeer put ice of reptile's dick. Soak in warm water instead.

You took him to the vet for an erection?!? Why not just drop him in the tank with the female for an hour?

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Because they didn't want little baby lizards.

I'm pretty sure leopards are just kinda dumb. I sell them at my work and they always just kinda walk right off your hand into air

My old man is currently 16 years old and still going strong. Doesn't like crickets too much though anymore.

My iguana fell from my parents' balcony years ago --> 10th floor apartment. It survived with absolutely no injuries. Still don't know how.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is normal for iguanas!! In their natural habitat they jump out of trees. They can fall 50 feet and be totally okay!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh shit, I didn't know that. That's info I would've appreciated it coming from my vet when that happened :(

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah that's something they should have told you! I only know because I have one myself and he face planted off the back of the couch 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

- freaked me right out. My boyfriend said he does it all the time tho, they're not ones for graceful entrances at all lol
