Noblert
I can put a finger through three sides of my doors
Iuseimgurwhenimstudyingacutediseases
If your doors aren't sealed right the wind gets in. And the weather is always damp it gets cold real fast here. Not - 20+ but in your bones
Vespii
I would have to try real fucking hard to stop myself from opening that door.
Shitbuttfartpoopasscrapturdpissqueef
shadigun88
i think its fake unless i see a vid of some dum person opening the door letting the water in
CompositeArmour
Yep, that's a sure sign you better take the washing in off the line.
SynthAndy7
Can leprechauns swim?
DataFlo
i want that as picture for doors
tlamstrike
Not surprising, an Irishman invented the modern submarine after all.
rotaboynz
If the door opens outwards then water pressure would push the seal tighter... just sayin
UnhappyMerchant
I mean most front doors open inwards don't they? To avoid twatting anyone who knocks in the face.
Most do here in NZ but that door happens to open outwards
TheGiantIdiotTeddyBear
The Irish are a magical, mystical people; I wish to one day learn their secrets
CryptFist
It’s 78 degrees Fahrenheit in Florida lol
Dankking
Is that really a flood or did that house fall into a lake and is now sinking?

RingSting
It's just a standard uPVC door, pretty common in the UK.
ZombieJonSnow
Idk man i see some bubbles.
BlastFX
Well they're certainly not coming from the door since the pressure outside is wee bit higher than inside.
danktrees
That's the creature lurking in the depths
IBroughtASpareDrainpipe
Why isn't a jet of lightly pressurized water coming out of the keyhole?? I'm calling BS on the flooded picture.
OtterlyMagnificent
Because the keyhole probably has a sealing plug on the outside because they knew the rain was coming?
gratsy
It is.
awesock
It is
ImGooder
I hope you allready picked your potatoes.

ImNotTaylorSwift
How many potatoes does it take to kill an Irishman?
Maboroshi1994
Dunno but there were a lot in the bag that dropped on my grandfather and that killed him
DVsloth
Zero.
Aurourus
I thought it was like 6 or 7 because the first few ones would break apart before you could cause severe brain trauma by bashing.
illogicalphallicy
Underappreciated comment, too buried. +1 is all I have to give.

Let's talk about the strength of that glass though...
SaturnineCult
You've never seen big aquariums then, aye.
Yeah but those are designed for it, your typical glass front door isn't.
MonsantoOfficial
Any smarties out there capable of calculating the amount of force pressing against the glass door? I feel like it’s a lot.. psi and all that
rezurok
Assuming 3.5 foot depth, 3 foot wide door, I get max PSI of 1.5 at the base and 1512 total square inches submerged, or 1134 lbs of force.
1512 square inches * (1.5 / 2) average psi
And would a normal pane of glass found on a door like that be substantial enough to hold true against the water? Assuming the seal holds?
Can't really say without knowing more...but aquariums do fine. I'm more surprised the rest of the house isn't collapsing
EdgarAlanCrow
What do you do? Like...just say "fuck"...and wait until mother nature calms her shit?
wiseinsanity
You drown, Tom.
SomeDetroitGuy
Kinda, yeah
Thatblondechick
You get a text from your boss saying “you’re still coming in, right?”
lbelli21

bOcEpHuSSS
Nah just put a towel down and open the door
Reinette
Point the hair dryer at it.
LePetitDino
Go to second story/roof. Jump off and shout "CANNONBALL"/"BANZAI".
jennym123
Currently in the middle of a snow storm. Yes.
Chesslover
Run away while throwing chocolate in her direction. Curl up into a ball in an un-annoying corner.
PursuitOfJoyThroughViolentFlogging
Just use the backdoor
