I Went To An Animal Shelter

So there's an animal shelter by where I live that lets you hold puppies for a quarter to tempt you to adopt.

This little one's name is Elsa. She's 2 months old and she's a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix. She slept the entire hour I held her.

She looks exactly like my best friend's dog and she's so cute. I wish I could adopt her.

That dog deserves a field filled with sheep to guard over and protect

She's gorgeous. You have obviously shown her what it feels to be loved. You should definitely try and make the adoption happen.

A great Pyrenees is a HUGE commitment considering their size and being a worker dog require a lot. You need to be 110% sure before adopting

Do it. If you're still living at home remember, sometimes it's easier to ask forgiveness than for permission.

I would spend all my quarters

Same.

I would have no quarters left for laundry.

@OP you walked away from that?! I'd just bring it home and deal with the fallout...

Rhetorically, how does one NOT take that home...

Any SPCA will let you come and walk their dogs on the weekend.

Not any SPCA, but some will. Some require you to go through volunteer training first.
