Honestly it's all over the place with her. She's a lot like Jean Grey in that respect. Both will go from tussling and struggling to defeat some random low tier villains, to suddenly going toe to toe and dominating cosmic entities without issue. Even's Carol's super saiyan like form, Binary, varies wildly like that. She goes Binary and suddenly she can move planets and absorb stars...unless she just can't?
Bottom line is that it is entirely up in the air until whatever writer decides her power

It often depends on how much power she has absorbed, since that is one of her abilities: to channel energy sources that come from elsewhere into her own powers.

Her power level's widely inconsistent imo and a lot comes down to in-universe speculation. Basically, anywhere between Luke Cage and Phoenix, but then again the character's been around since 1967. No real weaknesses, just limitations. @DnT64 she's generally fallen within the top 10% of female characters but as mentioned sometimes a writer decides she's a universal threat.

Part of me wants to point out that Nico Robin became a true Devil in order to protect her friends... then I remember that it took TWO members of "the Worst Generation," begrudgingly teaming up, to defeat Big Mom.

Yep, that's why I reconsidered my comment about Robin. Robin is incredibly powerful - but Big Mom was a literal force of nature, like a natural disaster (and just as heartless and uncaring of the harm she inflicted upon others).

But yes. Give Cowboy Bebop a go. The music alone is incredible. I own the soundtrack on vinyl.
