My pup passed away, Imgur. Need hugs ????

This is my dog, Moose. He passed away last night. He was 11.5 years old and had an awesome life. He wasn't sick, but we knew he was getting older and more tired. Last night he collapsed and had a seizure. He passed away with my parents shortly after. Look at that good boy.

Moose was a big lug, goofy and loving like all goldens.

Happy face! He was rarely ever anything but happy. He liked to sit at our feet when my sister and I sat at the counter, kept our feet warm. Another well loved spot during the summer, the cool tiles on the landing.

This is our other dog Charlie, a collie. She's 5. They loved to play together. She kept him really active in his later years.

Such a sweet, kind dude. He would always follow me around. When I would come home after being away he would headbutt my chest and we would just sit there, connecting.

He loved to roll in the grass. I can hear the snorting sounds he would make when he did this haha!

These are the pups and my parents cuddling a few christmases ago. They're really sad about losing him.

Moose was really gentle with everyone, including my niece and nephew. Never lost his patience ever.

In his favorite place, our yard. He had a great life. He had a lot of space to play and a lot of people to love him. He got lots of walks, runs, and runs alongside my dad's cross country skis over the years. Even last week he was out with my dad in the snow on the ski trails.

My Moose. I can't believe you're gone. You only knew good, did good, gave good love. The purest life. I'll miss you. And I'll try to be more like you. Rest easy, I hope I'll see you again.
