Democracy on Imgur
Fact: if you dive below -30 or -50 downvotes in total, your messages are marked as spam, and everything you've before and after posted will be permanently hidden from other users by either (I don't know which) a bot or an admin who doesn't check what you've posted.
The reason I bring this up is because this feature makes Imgur effectively an echo chamber, where anyone disagreeing with the hivemind will be removed from the conversation.
I honestly think that's messed up. It's one thing to have -10k points on your account, and another to have your voice taken away completely because you said something someone else doesn't like.
