Is she dating Ron Jeremy?

very nice of him.

I wonder if he’ll change his tune about Swift when he finds out she doesn’t want to commit genocide against the Palestinian people

my last Disturbed concert was really fun

Every artist loves Taylor as she fought and continues to use her money, power, and influence to give all artists ownership access to their content AND a fare touring wage from ticket sales. Fuck You Live Nation!

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

David Draiman is very cool

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Not a big fan of taylor swift's music... but I totally respect the way she runs her business and brand. She does kick ass, in that sense.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've only ever seen two bands live, because I refuse to pay for overpriced tickets. Disturbed was one of them, and I went with my mother because she had won the tickets from the radio. Yes, you read that right. My mother ROCKS.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Last time disturbed came to Australia, my mum came along to the concert 😄 the time before that I called her from the concert so she could listen to inside the fire live.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dave and the rest of the band are solid dudes. They take care of their crew and it’s refreshing seeing nu metal bands not falling victim to going all alt right

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm indifferent about her music, but yeah, she fuken does.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That guy next to her looks like Ron Jeremy, Horatio Sanz, and Lin-Manuel Miranda all had a baby together.

lol.

wtf? He got rid of his piercings?

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I saw these guys and some others when I took my daughter to her first concert earlier this year she thoroughly enjoyed the show we were there to see pierce the veil

Go for the eyes Boo!;

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Saw them at the “The End” tour for Black Sabbath with Opeth and Megadeth. They played after Mustaine and the gang, and before Geezer and the geezers. The interest to disdain ratio was one quarter to three quarters respectively. Hadn’t heard that amount of boos at any concert since Marilyn Manson at Voodoo Fest New Orleans when he bitched and moaned about the audiences’ interaction and walked off stage. Both memorable in their own ways. No hate here.

I took this photo at a show a few weeks back. Very little editing, I’m pretty proud

2 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

He’s missing something these days….

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That's a hellava photo. Would be triple awesome if you could get it autographed with a white pen. Maybe mail two to their producers, one framed as a present to them, asking for an autograph on the other?

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Oh that’s an awesome idea!! Thank you, I might do this.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Maybe say they're free to use the photo if they give you credit, you would just appreciate an autograph

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, you should be. It's damn good.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Thank you!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a disturbed concert, she's just high. Saw them when they were just spreading out of Chicago, so much weed smoke.

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 3

That's pretty much any show these days, my friend.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I mean yeah, she's clearly so fucking high.

Fair dinkum?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ok but if you see someone not having a great time DO NOT make them elaborate on camera

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

Or maybe, he was concerned for her health. She is front row, they often do that.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

She handled it great and yeah, heart in the right place I'm sure. I have a resting bitch face even when I'm having fun + anxiety, I would either murder someone if they did that to me with strength of mind alone or die of embarasrment. Or both.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I saw these dudes live once, wasn't there to see them, but I gotta say they put on a damn good show.

2 years ago | Likes 160 Dislikes 0

I saw in October of 2000 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and they were one of the best acts.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

They're super fun. They came out in the Era of a ton of really good metal bands and I think they caught a lot of flack for being more pop/nu metal.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"I saw these dudes live once, wasn't there to see them" Well this is awkward.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

they mean they were there to see someone else and disturbed were opening.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Fair enough. My bad.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

all good friend, enjoy your weekend.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You too buddy :-)

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought they meant "got too intoxicated"

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I saw them in a bar in Windsor and of the hundreds of live shows I've seen, that one stands out as the best. Seeing a band like Disturbed in a small venue was fucking incredible.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I saw them live once, and their sound stopped working in the middle of a few songs, but their monitors were working so they didnt realise.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did they continue with the sound of silence…??

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Very good. Honestly, they kept playing into the next song, then stopped after all the boos, then finally got it all fixed and everyone cheered.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've seen hundreds of bands. Disturbed is by far one of the best live performers. Pantera in 2000 was the worst.

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Also pantera is racist pretty sure their lead singer did a nazi salute at a concert and now have a hard time getting venues

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As far as just the music goes, the best live performers I've seen where Rage against the Machine, just flawless in their playing, The worst was White Zombie, fun show but Rob couldn't finish a single line without running out of breath.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pantera has nothing on Aerosmith post rehab, they are horrible without dope.

Not a huge Disturbed fan, they have a few songs I enjoy, but to be honest the more I see of their lead singer being well, ... himself. I think he is a really good guy that likes people and wants everyone to enjoy themselves.

2 years ago | Likes 933 Dislikes 7

There are a few really chill, awesome people when it comes to fame. Five Finger Deatg Punch, Flogging Molly, and Rammstein come to mind. Met and hung out with all of them. Seriously awesome people. Till Lindemann, seriously awesome guy. Probably one of the best weekends ever

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He's a genuinely amazing guy.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

He’s trying to take that girl out for chicken nuggets. (The SECUAL one’s)

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 43

Disturbed was a a huge advocate for piracy back when it was a big topic in the music industry.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I've seen them about 7 or 8 times cause they were opening for other bands, grew to like them immensely

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s not my type of music, but I have friends that are into heavy rock and metal and they say the bands are usually some of the nicest and most inclusive people.

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Generally I would agree, but I was not a fan of how he tried to beef with Trevor Noah over a joke he found offensive.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've only ever went to one concert, and only to see them. It was worth the 3 week headache that resulted.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hope someday he finds his way to condemning Likud’s attempts at genocide someday. He’s been pretty supportive of them lately.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

most metal heads are pretty chill, the theory is that they express all their violence in their music, and what is left is serenity

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Can confirm. Having an outlet through my music has helped me to become a father that my children need and let go of my life long traumas.

A lot of us spent our youth being Othered, and it sucked, and we don't want that for others.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Agreed. Not a fan, but seems like a decent dude. And their SoS cover actually isn't terrible...? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9Dg-g7t2l4

2 years ago | Likes 94 Dislikes 2

Love this cover. My husband plays it all the time.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They’ve come a long way since “Down with the Sickness” (I mean, it was 24 years ago). Give “A Reason to Fight” and “The Light” a listen. This genre of music – emotional power ballads by hard rock/heavy metal bands – is probably my favorite.

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Watch the Conan live one, it's better than the official

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Rule for covers of songs, they either have to be better than the original, or very different than the original. Or both.

This is I like their sound of silence version, and Johnathan Coultons Baby got Back.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Isn't terrible?" That song is amazing!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I laughed the first few times I heard it because I thought it was so ridiculous, especially because of his voice. I call these deep throaty voices 'eating a sammich voice' (because it always sounds like they have a mouthful of food while singing) BUT after hearing it a few more times I realized just how good it actually is, and how he slowly builds up to the graspy growly shouty voice. It is a damn well impressive cover indeed but damn, he's got some pipes!

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

ITs one of the few times I've actually enjoyed a cover so much more than an original. The way the lyrics are, the song itself lends to being pretty depressing, but the original S&G version was all folksy and upbeat, and it was very similar to Pump Up Kicks. It was a depressing and melancholy song made by the wrong band. Disturbed, I feel, did it justice.

2 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 1

It makes me cry every time I hear it; It’s glorious.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Idk if I'd go that far, but to each their own. Disturbed version is definitely a fitting and solid take - my Dad likes it more than S&G. My only defense of the original as still being better is their famous vocal harmonies being on full display and while the instrumental is folksy, the vocals are haunting.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Completely agree with you - I also think there is an argument to be made for the lyrics and melody to be contrasting each other, resulting in a very haunting song

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Paul Simon actually said that Disturbed's version is his favorite.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Careless whispers by Seether, Behind blue eyes by limp bizkit, Simple man by Shinedown. The house of the rising sun by the Animals. I prefer over Originals

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Most of those, I prefer the original. Especially with behind blue eyes. Don't get me wrong, most of them are good, some are even equal to original, thinking of Shinedown and it's version of Simple Man. But I think most of them, the original is better.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I like the Five Finger Death Punch version of House. I agree with all your other picks too.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I love FFDP, but House is terrible from them. Lyric changes that are just mind boggling.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

and here I am, remembering my first Disturbed concert with Shinedown as the pre runner lmao

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Big mid 2000s energy lol

Went to a concert venue often enough the bouncers recognized me. Went to the venue the wrong night expecting an Iron Maiden tribute band. Bouncer told me this probably wasn't my type of show but let me in for free to see of I'd enjoy it. It was Mexican death metal and a lot of fun.

2 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

ooh was it Brujeria? (I know they're not actually Mexican but they style themselves like it and they sing in Spanish)

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mexican death metal you say?

2 years ago | Likes 118 Dislikes 2

I can hear this without clicking it.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've often wondered what it would be like to see these guys streaming slowly through a jungle at night with just a few torches lighting them. First the drums, then the steps, then the faces in the darkness, then they pass smoothly around the trees and the watchers; their empty eye sockets piercing, rooting you in place until they pass into the gloom

2 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

They'd have a few Aztec death whistles as accompaniment, wouldn't they?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'd read this book if you wrote it

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

There's a subtle tension building... we're all out here for a reason, but the drums wash over us like fog in a dream. There is purpose but it drifts below the level of conscious thought, overwhelmed by the rhythm and the scent of life on the breeze. For now. As one, we turn and follow, darkness retreating before our eyes even as the muted woodsmoke rises ever sharper, carrying new undertones. Whether dread or anticipation, who can say.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

The trees thin even as the underbrush thickens, vines threatening to catch and trip yet somehow never quite in the wrong place. Perhaps the sun has sated them earlier today and they've no need of a meal in the dark. A deep red glow flickers over the faint edges of the Drummers' faces, not far ahead now waits the clearing. We are washed by a soft wave of sound, too complex to unravel into words, yet it seems to plead and rejoice and babble in equal measure. We arrive.
