Are those just varying kinds of tomatoes? Love the way it looks but I just don’t know what the yellow orbs are. Or why you’d use green tomatoes as well. I can’t make sauce well so any answers or tips are appreciated!
It's a massive mix of yellow cherry, regular cherry Tom's and beefsteak tomatoes. My advice for making sauce always blanche then peel tomatoes first them shove in a crock pot for 3 hours with pre fried celery, onion, garlic and carrot
Awesome, thank you! I do try to Blanche them, and I think freezing for a day helps with that like it seems youre doing. Guess I need to use a variety of tomatoes though! I normally just try with the same kind and maybe that’s why the flavor doesn’t come out right.

Did you freeze the tomatoes? If so, why?
antisocialmackerel
Because I had huge amounts from last season didn't want waste
DuineSgith
I do this for making chili, as they defrost they mush up easily and the skin comes off without any problems.

All of mine are way ahead of schedule. This season has been great. I'm already eating peas and have had a few hot peppers ready
