Lately my sex drive has been like

Unfortunately I'm not really into scientific research
So sometimes I get a little frustrated.
After 5 years (out of 12 years married), I've kind of started giving up
For the record, I'm in good shape, at least moderately attractive, not crazy, generally try to be nice / helpful, make good money and do a lot with the kids and the household. The weird thing is, on the relatively infrequent occasions we actually get things going, things go well. Suggested therapy but no shared interest. Suggestions Imgurians? I'm open to them.

Clarification. Have discussed it with wife. Many times over several years. In the end nothing changes and usually does more harm than good

Yup, have addressed it directly. Sometimes causes defensive reaction, sometimes offensive. Field position does not change though

Maybe she doesn't feel attractive and it's making her less interested. I'd say chat about it. Could just be a weird cycle. It happens.

This is probably a contributing factor. Unfortunately I think it needs more intervention if it will improve and she hasn't been interested

Honestly, I do feel like it would help though. She's not motivated, and I think it undermines her confidence when I try to suggest it.
