100 situps, 100 pushups, 100 squats and a 10k run everyday

"Give it a try" - first workout: muscle ups... Right, hold my beer while a flop like a fish on the local jungle gym

10 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 2

1. Pictures of actual exercises in random order. 2. Random numbers. 3. Pictures of muscular men. 4. Post as program. 5. ??? 6. Front page.

Guy in pic 2 uses steroids.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can actually do the clapping chin ups

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah starting off with muscle ups is a bit ambitious. But I'm no fitness doctor.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah no. Especially don't go from doing nothing to doing shit like this.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

10 cycles?!!!!

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Usually with steroids, you have to cycle them in and out. You can't just take them non-stop.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

7 muscle ups... 15 dips... I fucking wish I could do 1 of each

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

How to get fit: 1. Don't eat like a pig. 2. Go for a jog every once in a while.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If I could do all that then I wouldn't have to do all that!

10 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

That's hilarious!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's hilarious!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you can do muscle-ups, you aren't doing imgur workouts

10 years ago | Likes 139 Dislikes 1

I mean, in theory no, but if you can do them, you could always throw in a round or two at the end of your workout, for funsies

I envy your strength/weight ratio

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I'll give those guys a try honka-honka!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Soon

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or as i did; washed and polished my car. Hadn't i gotten a massage last night i couldn't move at all today. Old age is FUN!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Literally everything about this is terrible. Ignore all of these. If you're new it's not for you, and if you're expert it's not for you

10 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Proper strength training program goes off the 3 big lifts: squat, deadlift, and bench. It needs proper rest periods and gradual progression.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Beginner?!?! I can't even pull myself out the bed

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sit ups on the very first image....nope.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe i will

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

YEAH JUST DO SOME FUCKIN MUSCLEUPS. WHAT'S THAT? THEY'RE TOO HARD? GIT GUD SCRUB

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup.....this uh...this is kind of garbage.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or you could just start with some fork-downs and table-push-away's....

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hear kylo ren is shredded and has an 8 pack

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Whatever. Kylo Ren is a punk ass bitch! He looks like he weighs 30lbs soaking wet under that black dress.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would work out more if it wasn't so boring

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

It gets kinda... repetitious.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Try taking a class! I've taken a few different circuit-based ones. They change up every time so it's always new.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes! I've been going to the gym for a few months now thinking I'll get into it - still find it very tedious! How do people enjoy it??

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ask yourself why your working out. Focus on that goal

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just find it fun, not sure why. Maybe because I know what I get for doing it?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think this the push of ones self to becone better. Looking at not the now but the long run.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's why I'm still going but I still don't get any enjoyment while doing it, and deffo don't feel any endorphin rush post-workout :(

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Guys, don't listen to these training routines. Instead... follow this: 100 push ups 100sit ups 100 squats And a 10km run everyday

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

After 1 year you will notice a big difference...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you also have to make sure you eat 3 meals a day.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's the hardest part!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And keep the air conditioning off to get used to working out and to save money

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lol what? Yeah, just do 10 muscleups... If you can do ONE muscle up, you don't need these shitty infographs.

10 years ago | Likes 588 Dislikes 7

exactly

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Give up before you try, great start!

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Don't you know everyone on imgur is 10 foot tall primarch?

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

40k reference I got that!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This. I consider myself in decent shape. I can do 20 pull-ups, but Not. One. Muscle up

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And muscleups are not considered worth a while. More like a party trick.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That infograph is marked as "hard" though... and people who can do a bunch of muscle ups are always looking for a new routine or challenge!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

10 muscleups? No 10 sets of 15. 150 muscleups?!??!?!?! Why is this post upvoted?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

As soon as I saw that I determined this to be fodder.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeah lol and clap pullups... those are even harder IMO

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nailed it!

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

if you can do a pull up you're doing great

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Did you miss the "difficulty" chart in the corner of each? At least it's not advertised for beginners.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Even that many regular pullups are a joke if you expect someone to do them correctly

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Having done p90x multiple times I can do that many pull ups, but it took me at least a year. I had to build up from sets of 1.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

then don't forget that 30 second plank. Hahaha!

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I wanted to say that as well, 7 muscle ups and then 30 seconds plant? Way to ramp up the difficulty, haha

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Totally.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

70. It's 10 sets of 7 muscle ups. Fucking stupid

10 years ago | Likes 171 Dislikes 3

That can be done by .0000001% of the population

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yeah you stupid idiot

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not you. The info graphic is stupid

10 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 1

Why stupid. It says in F*CKING BOLD letters on top how many cycles to do.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

70 sets of muscle ups is way overkill. if you need to do 70, then you should add resistance instead.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah, didn't think of it in that context. Good point.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was gonna up vote until I saw this.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That one's rated hard. You gotta start with the beginner's cycle, where you *only* have to do 212 pushups

10 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Right? Even the "beginner" ones are pretty difficult for your average person. Who, of course, is (like, FAR) ahead of me in fitness anyway.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have to is strong verbiage... Try your best, or something cliché. Muscle ups are no joke though, and I'm relatively fit.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Man, that's more than Saitama did every day.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well, just do it until you go bald. That's how you know it's enough.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't listen to random info graphics make an actual workout plan. A good start is r/fitness.

10 years ago | Likes 188 Dislikes 8

Where you'll see infographs? Really similar to this?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Don't believe a random image post on Imgur. Believe random text posts on a message board." -A real thing you just said.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Well that's the thing right? it's not random. It's literally a message board devoted to physical fitness...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks for bringing up r/fitness, a lot of the shit on imgur doesn't seem very helpful from what people are saying

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This actually works great! Calisthenics is awesome. You should try it :-) Great fun too!

10 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Step 3: Put them down

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Step 4: get rest

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Step 5: eat food that doesn't suck

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

For me, r/TittyDrop gives me all the exercise I need.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More people need to see this.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Can someone tell me how to become addicted to exercise? I only do things I'm addicted to...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

THIS. These posts are useless, get yourself a simple resistance exercise plan, some cardio, and a healthy diet. Fuck the gimmicky bullshit.

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

see now, you had me until the healthy diet, and I know its just as important, but I love me some food and beer.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hey, depends what your goals are, but healthy diet can involve tasty food and beer, to an extent.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm trying to figure this one out now. So far I've been surprised at what I saw. A bit of half and half in my coffee and I'm in trouble.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have you actually ever tried calisthenics?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I don't think anyone is shitting on calisthenics, but these workouts are pretty inappropriate for beginners. 3x6 pullups AND chinups is nuts

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ah, well thats true. But the thing is, if u use these as a guideline u can do 2 sets of 3 and benefit from that. Next week 2sets of 4 etc.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I definitely feel you. Pull ups and dips are awesome. I think most people checking this out need to work on getting to 1 first, though lol

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Really strengthens your core and does wonders on your back and chest muscles. But yeah, these are too hard for beginners.
