I read somewhere that dogs’ wagging tails often have to be edited out of more serious movies because the doggo is so happy to just be doing his job. I have accepted this as fact.
Learning that dogs in a "villain" role will sometimes need to have their tails edited out and replaced with CGI because they're wagging from doing a good job at acting is a fun fact that has improved my life significantly.
Just one of those things I've seen on the internet. Looking around online I couldn't really find any solid sources outside of a bunch of anecdotal stuff. I did find one article that claimed it is just a myth, but doesn't actually present any of its own proof for that.
