Cover page with fancy type

Game description, so you know what you're getting into

Setup, a little different from traditional pong, but for a reason

Chuggernaut

In the right hands, the Chuggernaut decimates the game. Full offense, that just keeps the onslaught going.

Pale-Ale-Adin

The Pale-Ale-Adin is a super interesting character to play, who is based on defensive tactics. He can block balls with a barricade, and can counter attacks.

Brogue

The Brogue is all about tactics. I love watching people play the Brogue when they have to scream their selected sneak attack word.

Wasted Wizard

The Wasted Wizard is a super balanced character. He can control the field while denying opponents use of their own powers. Later on when he hits level 3, you may need to adjust your play style based on the risk of landing a bounce shot.

Beercromancer

The Beercromancer is a ton of fun to play. He has good control of the field, can blind an opponent, and as per the name, he can raise the dead (beers).

Since the bottom description isn't showing up on mobile, I'll add it here, so you all can see it:

I have a website set up (yes I pay for it, and no it doesn't have ads):

http://dungeonsanddrunkards.com

Backstory: I have been working on this game for a little over two years. Various people have jumped in to help out, because as it turns out, making a drinking game that's interesting, but not too complicated isn't super simple.

I figured you all would enjoy this, so I'll just leave it here.

On the website you can download the materials to play for free. There are a couple formats where you can print it out, fold it in half and use it as a book, or a bunch of cards that you can print out to hold while you play.

Again, all the materials are FREE! You don't have to pay a cent or look at an ad.

Just download and go.

Have fun guys!

TL;DR - I made a drinking game for nerds like me and you can download it for free

Edit: Jeez guys! I'm completely blown away at how many people have upvoted and visited the webpage! I can't thank you all enough. It's been wild designing something for years, never knowing if anyone would actually like it. Hopefully you'll all like it after giving it a try too.

My friend set up a reddit for this as well to help let more people know about it: https://redd.it/4ehhmq

**UPDATE!** The kind people of the internet were supportive enough to point out rule ambiguities, so I've made necessary edits to the rules. If your current documents are Version 1.0, they are out-of-date. The current version is v1.1, which you can download from the website or the Facebook page. Thanks again for all the help everyone!

My friend got excited and printed the cards, gonna try this tomorrow! +1

You glorious bastard. Thank you, @Xianimus. This is getting put to good use.

First instruction says you eat the ping pong balls when you score.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Fixed that little typo! You can see the edited version on dungeonsanddrunkards.com

Insta-Favorited. I will spread the good word, @OP!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks! I'm posting this here so people see it and play it. Upvotes don't matter, so feel free to repost

Too long, couldn't follow, put dice in my beer

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Watch your teeth.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You deserve to make $$$ off this somehow.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Haha! That'd be awesome, but I'm just incredibly happy to have it out there. I just hope people really like playing it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This sounds awesome but what do you count as a round?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's in the full rules on dungeonsanddrunkards.com, but a turn ends when all attacks are used and balls are recovered by the other team.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nerf beerromancer you greedy devs! All you do is taking my money and not balancing the game!!11one11

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can I have some clarification? Do you think the Beercromancer is unbalanced somehow? Let me know! Thanks!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's just kind of a meme, not funny enough to go further with it though. actually a cool game really.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Goddamnit...I didn't think age would catch up to me this fast... References....slipping... Have fun with the game though!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This looks suspiciously like a needlessly complicated version of beer pong.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

*Gasp* Oh no! I've been discovered...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You are a gentleman and a scholar.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm a drunkard and a miscreant

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like playing a variant of this where I play D&D and drink.

You should have been on my development team. I blame you, and myself, but mostly you.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As fun as this looks, how do you expect me to find 3 whole friends?

10 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

as opposed to half friends... you mean, like midgets.... you insensitive jerk! they're called little people!

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Halflings.. or gnomes?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I play with midgets or I don''t play at all

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I have no interest in DOING any of this but it looks really neat.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Where was this game when I wasn't too old for this shit?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

@OP the real mvp

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

+1'd at "please drink and game responsibly". Thanks, OP.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's the thing about drinking games. Competition + Drinking can sometimes equal disaster, so you know, be smart

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We would forget the rules after the first game.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'd probably make the class cards and rules into a poster. Use big letters and pictures so you can read while intoxicated

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not a bad idea. A poster wouldn't be terrible, but how would people print it?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty lazy, so I'd probably just print each picture on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet and glue them to a brostol board

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha! We had that problem with so many other iterations. Too complicated. This version seems to work well. Let me know how it works out..

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How does one level up?

10 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

It's in the rules at dungeonsanddrunkards.com, but it's simple after you get 1 cup - lvl 1, 3 cups - lvl 3, 5 cups - lvl 3 (total cups)

10 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

Lvl*

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

3 cups - lol 2 *

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

yea, three cups for lvl 2

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Seems like you've played a match fairly recently, eh?

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This is awesome, inspiring, and very clever. Make a kick starter.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Drink The Beer is a way better game. When you win, you are rewarded with more beer. Done and done

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ooooooooh I like it

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ok guys get out there and play test and post the pics for us...

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

OMG, bonus points if costumes are involved

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

How do you level up? Is it every 5 cups removed or something your team goes up a level?

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

The first level is 1 cup. The second is 3 and the third is 5

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's in the rules at dungeonsanddrunkards.com, but it's simple after you get 1 cup - lvl 1, 3 cups - lvl 3, 5 cups - lvl 3 (total cups)

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks :) I'll have a look

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Read the first two classes as huggernaut and ale-ale den until I realized the big fancy first letter

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I would buy a shirt that said huggernaut. I want it to be a thing.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Imgur, you heard 'em! Somebody make a Huggernaut shirt. I will buy it!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can agree

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha! Nooooooo! Those dropcaps took so long to design!

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They are good! I just didn't catch them at first

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fancy pretty stuff is often not straight forward to read, which is why engineering drafts use boring font.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Honestly, having an engineering background, I completely understand the necessity of bland text when looking at 3D renders on a 2D page.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Reading your rules on your site, it says you have a first attack "At the start of the game." Beercromancer's level 2 has "b4 first attack"

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Typo? Or incorrect symbol? And I'm assuming you can only use one active ability at once? chugger can't call a cup AND dual wield right?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He can. All abilities at all levels stack

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let me look into that. The phrasing might be off. Will check when I get home.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I read into it more. It later says "before YOUR attack" but in the beginning it says first attack.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah. First just means first attack per turn

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've edited the rules to make it more clear on the website and Facebook page: dungeonsanddrunk">rds.com">dungeonsanddrunkards.com; facebook.com/dndrunkards/

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As @GOLDZILLA pointed out, the full rules haven't been posted here. Just bits and pieces. You can see the whole thing on the website.
