The NSA can likely capture every digital packet of data on the US internet. Signal and Discord are not safe places as "authorities" have found ways to decrypt information on those platforms. Welcome to 1984.
I have to admit, I've been enjoying seeing the little disclaimer at the bottom of Epstein's e-mails about how it's all confidential and attorney-client privileged and what-not. So much for that!
Attorney-Client privilege can be voided for a variety of reasons. I suspect that a lot of the emails would be exempted from the privilege either because of the particular people involved in the communications (uninvolved 3rd parties) or the Crime-Fraud Exception. The latter involves seeking advice to commit or intent/confession to commit a future crime or fraud (e.g., "I'm going to commit a crime").
Those little disclaimers don't mean dick. It's not on the recipient to keep confidential information confidential if the sender fucks up. Or *ahem* "you can not unilaterally bind email recipients to terms not covered by preexisting bilateral agreements." On the other hand, with or without the disclaimers, its bad form to profit from someone else's mistake and can make you liable for unjust enrichment. (So anonymously forward it to your favorite journalist, but don't sell it and get caught.)
So now I am imagining the Orange Cheeto's lawyers arguing the prosicution can't use the emails as evidence since they have a disclosure that they were client-attorney privilege...
They are, but only in response to warrants, and the "now" at the end is falsely implying this is a recent development. It's good advice to not upload your bitlocker key, if you know what that means, but we also shouldn't fearmonger about something that every company would be required to do.
This really is a "Why don't you ever see Batman and Bruce Wayne in the same room?" situation. The people not bothering with trying to hide what they were doing ARE the people that the rest of us need to hide from. We fight for privacy because THEY have the tools to do us harm for organizing. They don't bother with privacy because we don't have access to those tools.
The real reason Musk acquired twitter. It was getting to a point where it was the place for organizing, and free speech. The rich didn't like that and took it away from us
I'm sure that's the reason for the people bankrolling him to buy Twitter, you know Musk did it because everyone was dunking on him for Grimes dumping him.
Musk was doing some illegal stock price manipulation and then the FTC said hey you're doing illegal stock price manipulation and then he had to actually find the money and do the purchase so he didn't go to jail

All the surveillance bullshit they pushed through for :"catching child predators".

Real proof that some of us have to worry about consequences and some of us don’t

Gmail was ONE of his accounts, not all, and I don't think I've ever seen his texts.

The government is also hosting the files on Google servers.
The state has been completely captured by private interests who can manipulate information at will.

It's like the Germans. They kept records of everything. Why? They didn't think they'd lose.

Don't upload your bitlocker key to your Microsoft account, Microsoft is giving those to authorities now.

It's even better advice to bin Microsoft entirely and use Linux where possible.

wasn't it to stop that kid from reporting his plane movements?

I think the kid started after he went on a massive transphobic screed due to who his ex left him for.
