We didn't prosecute Trump after his first term with multiple serious crimes that the US government has destroyed other people's lives for (read that as not wealthy, not powerful, & not connected people.)

We didn't prosecute & imprison Prescott Bush (Nazi Financier who only stopped financing the Nazis because his business was confiscated under the trading with the enemy act in WWII & member of the Business Plot) & allowed him to keep his wealth - Note, he was father to traitor George H.W Bush & grandfather to war criminal George W Bush. imagine how much suffering could have been prevented if he had just been prosecuted for his crimes.
