If you're cold, they're cold. Let them inside.

What did you say to it when you left for the day?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good morning, can we take a moment to talk about Jesus "Gator Lover" Christ?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is why I speed walk past hedges.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

go Gators!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fucking hate people who leave their crocs at work places

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Soon

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can confirm. Have resident gator at our work's pond. His name is Jeff

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Crazy to think how the gators are actually safer than the people of Florida

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I'm talking about the bath salts vampires etc, not the retirees

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You're in his habitat...what did you expect?

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

It's not like they're complaining about it.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So do y'all kill the gators or what? I'm from CA and I found a huge lizard like 10" and we just killed it like nothing

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 14

What the fuck is wrong with you?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

There's too many to do that. Plus they keep down the rodent and snake populations. Mostly harmless unless you're really stupid.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Gators?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Animal control still works here

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm animal control...we don't do gators lol FL fish and wildlife will try to relocate but not usually with bigger or nuisance ones

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And here we see a Florida swamp cat

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

dont give the swamp kitties belly rubs...even less desirable results than regular cats

@OP You've got some explaining to do!!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

come on @OP

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

An hour ago with almost the same title. What a cock.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I know right it's not like it's my post or something

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a Floridian, can confirm. Also I took a class at a local college when in hs to get licensed and put in the phone book to capture, remove

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and release dangerous and exotic wild life like this.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude, no shit? Where? I'm in jax and could you someone to recommend to people

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Westside. That was in 2006, long expired. I still have my snake poles and experience though. Any gator over 6ft I left alone.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't fuck with any of them if I can help it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't help it, my parents would smack the shit out of me as a kid bc whenever I saw a snake I would pick it up and play with it. Love em.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So this is why you guys do all those drugs

9 years ago | Likes 175 Dislikes 1

Lol between that, the snakes, the spiders, the people and the water, its no wonder that drugs are plentiful.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

From my experience living in southern Fl, we don't need drugs to see crazy shit. http://imgur.com/jL6b7C3

Is it ... How can they say it's illegal to operate a wheelchair? How does that even work?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My fave story to tell is when I was living in ocala a VERY drunk man was swatting a fire hydrant with a samurai sword shouting how the -

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hydrant dishonored his family and had to face his wrath. I walked the fuck away from that one

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Floridian here. Can confirm. Taken more outta my swimming pool than I can even count

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Wait is this really a problem? Lived on FL all my life never had a gator in a pool

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Do you have a pool?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

At least one every summer at my uncle's house. Usually just little guys that could squeeze through the fence but the occasional 6-7 footer

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If there is water they will come.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You must have a nicely fenced in yard lol our yard was booty fenced and we had a canal just a few hundred feet behind the house. /1

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Was not fenced**** damn swype

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

omg, I legit lol'ed at "booty fenced". Thanks for the genuine laugh, and my sympathies as a former Floridian for your lack of pool cage. XD

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

We had to call animal control nearly every month to have one removed. /2

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Booty fenced ha ha ha we only had snakes but we weren't terribly close to major water

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I live in FL. Can confirm. I have one that took up residence in a pond near my house. This is why we don't swim in fresh water. Plus amoeba.

9 years ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 0

Haha. Florida. 'Fresh' water. That's funny.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Man I've been here for 12 years ::shudder:: have yet to see 1. I mean I know they exist and all, I think I have natural gator repellant.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Lived in the Englewood/Rotonda West area for a while--saw 'em often on my drives. Creepy AF imo.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bring a flashlight to just about any decent size freshwater lake at night. Shine it around the banks and you'll likely see some glowing eyes

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Every Floridian should take at least one trip across Alligator Alley at dusk to see the hundreds of eyes reflecting back at you.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Psh you're just not far enough inland. I grew up in Lakeland and we swam the rivers all the time. *que banjos*

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I love swimming the rivers! I'm a tampa native. I still wont swim in lakes though. Fuck that

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gators definitely live in Lakeland though...

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

v

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey aren't there suppose to be manatees at rainbow river?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Dude, that was just OP's mom.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I've been to rainbow river before, super fun! A ton of manatees. Check what time of year they're around though. I think spring

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Certain parts of the year there's more, but in general yeah

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I work animal control and you wouldn't believe the calls! " there's an alligator in the retention pond!"........ma'am you're in Florida.....

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

So you're saying there is no point in getting you to remove them?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean...I would try to help get it out of a pool but ponds and lakes....its nature

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They just come back. You can remove them, but another will move in.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks, didn't know what a retention pond was. What about your backyard or pool?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They don't really live in pools, no food and chlorine isn't good for them. If you see one call animal control. Keep a fence up if you like.
