I hate this whole anti vax thing. Thought this would be funny.

Penn & Teller's take is pretty great - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhk7-5eBCrs

I know people that believe the earth is flat, they were my friends before...

Why not just make vaccinations required and refusal come with heavy fines until you do. (I know some people are unable to be vaccinated)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wish we could get vaccinated against the stupidity spread by anti-vaxers, but then we would all be autistic.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously though, the only thing I ever hear about this outrage is the outrage itself.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's spreading to the animal owners as well. =/ Fortunately, they want to introduce "titering" instead, which seems smarter to me.

Prevent Able Diseases!

Did you know that drinking two cups of bleach can kill the genes that are responsible for low intelligence?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Even if it did cause autism I'd rather have an autistic child than a dead one

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Is this still a thing? Are people not doing this still?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

200 minutes? More like 200 seconds

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More like 200 seconds of intense web browsing for them :p

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Here's the kicker... even if vaccines DID cause autism (they don't) autism is far better than fucking polio.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

My favorite thing is that people would rather rusk there child getting polio than having autism....wtf?

Darwin works in mysterious ways.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Anti-vaxxers put normal people at risk, not just themselves. Keyword: herd immunity

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

If you tell anti vaccers about that guy that was proven a fraud, they'll just tell you that big pharma wanted him out or some shit like that

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So they basically have PhDs in stupid?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Exactly. They'll say that he was shunned because he was the only one who spoke the truth!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why do people hate progress?? Honestly.. What the falt earthers and all.. Im beginning to lose faith in humanity.. WAIT, ALREADY HAVE!!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

+1 for throwing in 'toxins' at the end. I always ask someone what it means when it comes up, every time I get a different answer.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Know a guy that didnt want to vax his kids because he thought that "He would build up an immunity to the diseases

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've actually never seen an Anti- Vaxxer

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, they wxist. My fiance's german-babtist aunt tried to tell me vaccines gave her two children auto immune disorders.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They died of smallpox.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#5 Boasting about how you shut someone down isn't actually an argument. It's just argument adjacent.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 21

Oh yeah, cause proving someone to be a fraud and child abuser is totally not a reasonable argument for banning them from practicing medicine

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, that's fine and just. It just doesn't further your argument to demonstrate that you can hurt people who disagree with you.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

My bf wasnt vaccinated for chicken pox. he got chicken pox. i was vaccinated for chicken pox. ive never had chicken pox. but he argues ...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

that we shouldnt vaccinate our kids because if they are vaccinated and get chicken pox it will be terrible for them...?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

honestly I dont even know where to go with that logic.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#2 - Huh? Is Shatner anti-vaxx?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its a reference to actors pushing anti vax ignoring doctors.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Jim Carrey would be the one. He's an anti-vaxx loon like his ex-girlfriend Jenny McCarthy. He's also into other woo, no surprise there.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm completely with you. I've stopped trying to argue with idiots though. Coffins still come in baby size.

Ill say this about vaccines. My daughter had no symptoms of any kind of allergies. Immediately after her vaccines, she now has allergies (1)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like, her whole body is covered in bumps all the time allergies.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Still better than small pox.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He did, but Brandon Sanderson finished out the series. Its wonderful, go finish it up!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes it is and Brandons books are great also.

Just because someone is acoustic doesn't automatically mean they're guitarded.

Even if it did cause autism (it doesn't) I'd rather my kid have that than polio.

9 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 2

Yup. Once again, the worst part, to me, is that antivaxxers are basically saying: I'd rather my kid be dead than autistic

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

I've been saying this verbatim for a while. Polio is the WORST thing I've ever seen.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know a lady with a PhD in psychology who didn't vaccinate her kid. Her husband (pilot) went along with that. Complete fools.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Irrational thoughts can make a smart person do extremely irresponsible things. Even without religion as the driving force.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No you wouldn't. Depends on the level of autism.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 12

I've seen severe autism and I've seen severe polio. Polio is worse.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've seen and know people that have very high range autism. It can be trying at times but I'd still rather have that then my kid dying

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This one of those times the difference between then and than is important

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Hahahaha whoops. Good call

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dont matter, come back after you have googled polio

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Google doesn't show you real life fool! Experience life before opening you mouth. Google don't know shit!!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

I'm old enough to have known brothers who have suffered severely from both! The bro who had Polio was glad he wasn't autistic like his bro.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

but what about having polio and being autistic because you were not vaccinated. it's not an either or

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have you ever heard of someone having both? I certainly haven't. But I think you are taking this the wrong way. I'm for vaccines.
