I bet this guy had a good day! Lol

Fucking around in a benign manner is essential to riding a motorcycle.

That’s the dance that says I just got my bike license and my first bike , and I don’t care how I look

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nicely in the exhaust fumes of cars in front of you.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now that’s a hybrid

8 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 2

I've seen grown ass 1%ers do this shit. Traffic is really boring. Good music helps.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

There's a small window between ready to murder someone, and actually about to do it where I'm happy as daisies. This guy could be the same

Filtering (that’s how I know lane-splitting), would be so much safer, if the rider went slower.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I make motorcycle noises to my self out loud while on my motorcycle.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’d do this all the time. Helps stretch the legs and lower back. Also it can get boring in packed traffic. Not smart to have headphones on.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is normal when you ride motorcycles my friends. :)

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

because it's his 100th time on the frontpage?

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Riding a motorcycle in heavy traffic's like sticking your face up to a tailpipe but yeah his dancing's kinda funny i guess

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not being able to split lanes sucks

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

how many times has this been posted....?

Love the high-vis gear

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In Hawaii, Oahu, the only bike to ride for commuting is da kine you pedal

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I do this all the time, no lane splitting allowed up here in Canuck land

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I giggled.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

too cute

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah yes our wonderful H1 parking lot. I've spent many hours contemplating my decisions in life there.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

hes not riding between cars like a douche?...inconceivable!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its called splitting you plonk, and its quite legal in a lot of places

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'm never moving to a place where a bike has to pretend that he cannot safely fit between cars at this pace.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Right??

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you split a lane, you deserve all the scorn you get.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

'ere you go, mate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNGD9AAIfFU

Or he might just need to take a piss

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Nothing like that Ewa bound rush hour on the H-1. Imagine how bad it used to be before all the highway widening

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

when you're sitting in traffic and it's illegal to ride between cars, this is how you keep yourself entertained

8 years ago | Likes 1946 Dislikes 7

Have lived in many places where its legal, and never split a lane. Its fucking stupid and you should never do it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

There is a life lessons here. Things are out of your control, all you can do is make the best from what you have been given.

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

Isnt that like 50% of the reason people chose bikes over cars though ?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In Australia you can weave between traffic if below 30km/hr

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do people get mad at you if you just don't do it even if it's legal?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

also, this guy just got laid

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 3

heading back to work after a nooner

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

nah you ride anyway... slowly to avoid collision, but waiting like that is insane, boring and in hot weather very uncomfortable

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I had to wait for a train once, so I went and said hi to the other people and, asked them to pump some tunes!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank god I live in California :)

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

For reals!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All the time. I mock pedaling my feet on green lights at times.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I do that when I pass cyclists haha

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ooh....I thought we just went between the cars anyway... For safety and engine heating reasons...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In gridlock that bad I'd risk it honestly. Gonna be real hard for a cop to stop you

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Till some road rage nutjob in their car blocks you and you go flying.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I said it was a risk.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do that shit to bro even at stoplights

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Illegal?!?? Sheez... In Norway the rule is to not go above 5km/h faster than the cars.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah, Holland allows it as well. We have much more structured traffic, I feel.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

could be scratchy balls tho

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gas tank drumming is also super useful when you aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Incidentally, do they make helmets with like bluetooth headphones?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They do, and they're fantastic.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 7

Not this but the comment above it

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

what about it?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Yes

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

It's not legal here, and yet everybody does it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why would you ride a mc in traffic if you couldn't split lanes?

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 7

well... that's why

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He’s just trying to get to the twisty roads.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Poor trip planning.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

It's a choice of drive my pickup which drinks more gas than wisconsin drinks beer, or ride my bike which lasts a month between refueling

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because that’s the only vehicle you got?

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

And because it's still better than being in a car in traffic unless the weather is <45°F or >95°F .

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Can confirm, I rode motorcycles, have done this to amuse myself, and a bus full of kids. . . I regret nothing about it lol.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not in California. It’s legal. And painful when you get squished.

8 years ago | Likes 220 Dislikes 14

I personally absolutely hate when ppl cut off motorcyclist when its legal and allowed to do it. Your car is a WEAPON as well as a vehicle.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's bad on both sides. Seen someone get their side view mirror broken after it got hit

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's so annoying. Don't do it while cars are moving ffs I could hit you by mistake

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Check your mirrors! In San Diego traffic bikers tend to only lane split the #1 and 2 lanes (far left lanes). /1

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

/2 If in the fast lane I tend to keep left so they have more room. Lots of appreciative waves.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's the point, to avoid getting squished. Specifically from behind.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

This. Best way to avoid getting hit is to always be on the move. Riders following cars tend to get merged in to.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

really ? i always thought it was always illegal

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

CA state takes no official position.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

California had no law regarding it, therefore legal by default. AB51 was passed in August 2016, explicitly codifying it as CVC 21658.1.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s not illegal in Singapore, I found out. After an old man lost his balance and tapped my car with his bike, coming off a red light.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

from my deep Wikipedia research, CA is the only state to explicitly allow lanesplitting

What was the post?

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I guess we'll never know...

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's legal here, wifey still sits in traffic just because everybody changes lanes without looking or warning then gets surprised when a /

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

large and fairly scary lady on a bike is punching their window.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Legal here in CA. I watched a car in front of me swerve to block a bike from lane splitting by him. I laughed when the biker kicked his car.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I mean that is literally attempted murder.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Oh I hope he wraps his car around a tree. Even at 10mph, that can seriously fuck up a biker.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I bet he has something good waiting for him at home.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dude lives in Hawaii. I bet I would be pretty happy too

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eh. It’s really cool for like a few weeks. Then Island fever sets in.“Oh look...yet another beach.” As gorgeous as it is, it gets old quick.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup, island life ain't for everyone. Definitely not for me.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm from Alaska, I would be fucking stoked every day.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol, you say that, but I’m tellin’ ya’, month after being stuck on the same little island, you’d be screaming to go back to Alaska.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not to mention there are many “restricted” areas in Hawai’i. Oh you can go there, but the locals will make it known you are not welcome.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Got knocked on the head with a full 40oz bottle and head kicked into a curb just for being a white mainlander in wrong place and time.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every biker has done this

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

But not all bikers who do this gets filmed and even fewer gets to the FrontPage!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do it all the time =D

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a biker, can confirm.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hell, I even do this on my moped in traffic.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do it in my car.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Run in place. Gotta do cardio whenever you can man.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or open the door run around the car and get back in. Keeps other motorists guessing.
