I always thought imgur hated all things motorcycle.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

It's so pretty

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Comment.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

A comment! That tail light though, I had to say it!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed. It's weak.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is that brake light from the star bolt or just generic?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

God, what a pos.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I always thought these looked like the quasimodos of motorcycles. Still love them though

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's just yummy.

Form over function, not cafe but brat. Bike won’t handle with that rubber. Cafe started with limeys racing each other to cafe down the way

WE NEED MORE MEATY TIRES

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

fenders are there for a reason

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 4

Imagine going over a bump, finding your ass on the rear tire and getting your pants sucked in between tire and seat. Ouch!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

exactly, although it looks cool kids your front fender also accounts for a lot of your fork rigidity, removing it is potentially dangerous

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Exactly. All I can picture is a dude soaked in road sludge and water.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Been riding fender free in el paso for years. Only had the bike piss up my back twice so far ;)

Brat style not cafe ... no upvote for you

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Upvote for you anyway

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Cb400t?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

cb250n judging by engine side cover, not a 400 due to single brake disk instead of dual

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

although could be a cm400 they came with single disks

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah it's hard to say with it being customized.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is no longer a cafe racer, that is now technically a street bob.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Is that because of certain modifications?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Bobbers have many things removed to make them lighter, the seat is definetly not cafe

It's almost certainly a CB400T. 1978-1981.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Might actually be a CM400 judging by the side covers.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wrong again cb400/250n. Source: i own 3

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Close. It is a Honda, but only a twin. Here is CB 750 (4cyl) I finished a few months ago...

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

my balls and back hurt just looking at that, but I wanna ride

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I always upvote motorcycles. That's more Brat-Style than cafe. Still neat though.

9 years ago | Likes 73 Dislikes 6

That was my thought too.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just real quick, I haven't heard of Brat-style before. Elaborate?

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Brat is similar to cafe, but a little weirder in the seat area. Also they look less race- inspired than a cafe. It is a loose definition.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Awesome, thanks for the enlightenment!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its a Japanese thing i think? They build custom bikes and if yours looks like theres thats a big deal.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep. Brat is a Japan-based bike builder that has an often imitated, but very recognizable style.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yay me for knowing! Love the style as well

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More like a Brat-Bob. http://imgur.com/P660XHg

How well do cafe racers handle on the street? I ride crotch rockets but want to get a cafe

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

I think they handle great. But it all comes down to what bike you get and base your build on. I had a 76 BMW R90s and loved it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The idea of cafe racers was to get from one coffee shop to another in a less time than the other guys. So they should be fast af in streets.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most of the cafe racers back in the early 60's were slow by comparison to modern day motorcycles. They just rode them like mad men.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Depends on the bike and what you put into it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It depends how its built. If you only do aesthetic improvement and no performace/dynamic improvements then its gonna ride like shite.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Very tidy handling on the street. Basically cafes were sport bikes before there were sportbikes. Low tech, fun, and stand out looks.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Soooo.. The hipsters of motorcycles?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

My goldwing cafe was a beast... too wide...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
