Hire a HOT guy named Chris

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

As a soon to be unemployed Chris, I agree.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good idea. Next X-Men movie should be written by Chris Claremont.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Chris O'Donnell?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

amazing movie

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did somebody say Chris? http://imgur.com/OgyVmQM

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Brb gotta change my name into Chris and go get a gym membership.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Orrrr maybe it's because they made a movie that actually celebrates the strength, power, and empathy of women, not JUST the sexy parts.

8 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 9

Or they just made an actually good movie, and left politics out of it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Though those are important too

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Nope, pretty sure it was Chris.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

when your ready for your superhero movie.

8 years ago | Likes 154 Dislikes 1

Check it out now, the funk soul brother

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He was Maxwell Shrek in Batman Returns (the one with Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, and Michelle Pfeiffer).

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That dark knight trilogy poster is whack. Scarecrow/Ra's al Ghul on BB, Joker/2-face on TDK, and Catwoman/Bane on TDKR would be way better.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have my gym coach as the physical trainer, true story.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wait thor wasn't that great

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I'd watch a superhero movie with him as the lead

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or you know have a hot blond guy. Scratch the blond, just hire a hot guy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Watch a superhero movie with Chris odonnell and see how you feel then friend. Fudging terrible.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Watch your hecking language!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Or Brendan you know....Might work better than Tom for example...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thor wasn't particularly good IMHO

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But one of those guys is named Crisp. Crisp Rat

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Yep, way to explain her success is because of a man

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Christopher reeve stopped making films because he got fed up of being pushed into roles

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

v

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Dark Knight trilogy SUCKS.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Iron man was great, any chris to do with it?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Iron man 1 had a stunt guy named Chris Carnel. Chris Carnel was also in GOTG and CA:Winter Soldier too..

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Nolan Batman: 1 pretty good movie, one great movie, one terrible movie.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Christopher Nolan has never made a bad movie IMO

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry, but there were a whole lot of things about the third Nolan Batman film that were just not very good.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So Gal Godot had nothing to do with the success of Wonder Woman?

8 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 7

exactly

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Maybe her middle name is Cris >.>

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Her real name is Chris Godot. Just saying.

8 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

*used to be. That was before all the surgeries.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 8

That's the Hebrew translation yes.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Christopher Reeve agrees.

8 years ago | Likes 845 Dislikes 2

He's so full of himself tho! Someone should knock him off his high horse.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy shit! Clark Kent is Superman?!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Skippity doo wop, uh Christopher Reeves

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

seeing that makes me realize what an awesome spot-on cast brandon routh was

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Somehow, this made me sad...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Damn I miss him :(

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

i cry everytime i watch the end of superman 2 when he's flying and he looks at the camera and smiles...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I cry when I hear the theme

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is god damn impressive. After seeing that I can completely believe people not realizing Clark Kent is Superman.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Too soon...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it's been weeks!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ugh that cuts deep v

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Holy shit! I just realized Clark Kent looks just like superman when he takes his glasses off!

8 years ago | Likes 174 Dislikes 0

A bird and a plane? My life is dull.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Isn't his girlfriend the one who does all those Superman articles in the Planet? I wonder if they use Kent as a model for the pictures?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nah, I think that's just your imagination

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I like how he's got the posture changes between Clark Kent and Superman down.

8 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

That version of Clark also sounded very, very different from Superman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIaF0QKtY0c

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I never realized that. That's a huge part of it; at least as much as the glasses.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I'm loud and gregarious at work once I've gotten used to it, but I'm usually dead quiet at the beginning. I brought this up one time 1>

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2> and a girl who was there before I started said, "I remember you always being talkative." Then i asked her when she thought I started. 2>

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

3> She thought that I'd started a full six months after i did.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Christopher Reeves in his current state would be an improvement to Batman V Superman.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

A little bit anyway.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I disagree, Reeves is a pretty stiff actor nowadays. Doesn't horse around like he used to.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

He could certainly play post-BvS pre-JL Superman.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The amount of likes you are getting is criminal.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nolan's Batman movies were ok but Affleck's Batman is superior. IMO.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 44

Affleck batman isn't even out. Bvs was and is and always will be shit. terminator genisys was a better crap on its legacy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That bandwagon tho.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 4

IMO = In My Opinion. Catch up.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 9

He meant it's literally exclusively your opinion

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

/a/40x3S

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

i agree batfleck is better than bale.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 20

agreed, Bale was shit. Even Bale doesn't like his Batman. His Batman voice was terrible and the character was too one-dimensional.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

they turned the world's greatest detective into the world's worst detective.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Not sure why you're being downvoted. You clearly stated it's just your opinion and you shouldn't be penalized for having a different one +1

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

You should know how Imgur works by now colonel.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I should also know when not to fuck with a recipe but idgaf

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Idk mate. I dont rly look at upvotes or downvotes lol. I just use this site for viewing images and uploading for the link. ;D

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Somebody expresses their opinion and others express theirs by up/downvoting. I may be wrong, but I think that's the concept.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I believe the concept is about discussion. I know I'll get hanged for this, but Reddit states similar reasoning with it's voting system 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

2/2 that one should not downvote simply because you disagree, but rather whether it contributes to the discussion or not.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I agree that's how it should be, but I don't think that's how it's used in general. That's why random stuff gets upvoted and some facts dont

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Indeed

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Na I think it's more simple. Don't have the guy who made sucker punch make your movie.

8 years ago | Likes 154 Dislikes 20

Sucker punch was a fucking visual spectacle with some great direction. The script and story was crap tho I admit.

8 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 6

he basically directed it. choosing a female to play director was just a political move. look up the credits, he produced the sht out of it

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 9

I think you mean, he produced the shit in it.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

well the movie was trash so.. i guess?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Ah, now I know where you stand on the film. We are at an impasse. Good day to you and your's.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Aw, c'mon. 50% of Sucker Punch was good! The other half... yeah, fair enough.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Snyder is a great fuckin director who can turn a shitty script to a visual masterpiece *visually. Ex. extended Batman vs Superman

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that's just your shitty opinion

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 21

Annnnnd the opinion of just about every critic, and imdb and rotten tomatoes and fans. Like what you want though.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

It is easy to share different opinions when you're not able to form your own objective opinion. But that's just my shitty opinion.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

fucking rekt

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Man of Steel and BvS aside, Suicide Squad wasnt Snyders fault at least

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Oddly I enjoyed the extended cut of that the most

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't get why people crush Man Of Steel. I have my criticisms of it, but in no way do I watch it and go "this is a bad movie" ?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Expectations. People desperately want a great Superman movie, and MoS was definitely not that movie.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I will give you that, I dont think Man of Steel is at all terrible. Its definitely not as messy as its follow up or Suicide Squad.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The product placement/excessive destruction was annoying, but I actually really like his take on Supes, which is an unpopular opinion.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There wasnt anything wrong with the acting either, save for Jared Leto and Eisenberg, BvS and SS sucked because their stories were nonsense

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The 3 hr cut of BvS filled a lot of holes, but yea there were still some real loose ends, ie, Luthor's motives/ why he needed Batman at all

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Luther's motives are clear even in the original cut. He hates God. Because he hates God, he hates superman. He lays it out in plain English.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Leto's acting was fine. People just rag on him because he's not Heath Ledger.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Man of Collateral Damage.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

lol - that does fall into one of my criticisms

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As if no other superhero movie has collateral damage.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

300, Watchmen, and also Man of Steel are great movies. BvS was OK, but definitely not as bad as people say it is. Haven't seen Sucker Punch.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Man of Steel is crap, it feels like a lot of scenes were cut off, just like what happened to bvs theatrical edition. too rushy

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sucker Punch is the definition of "all style, no substance" but it's one of my guilty pleasure movies.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same here

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Exactly, cause "Watchmen" and "300" sucked.

8 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 19

300 was a major disappointment to me after reading Gate of Fire. I was expecting awesome battle tactics and got comic fights instead.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 9

Great tactics like "put our heavy infantry into an easily guarded position"? My god they done changed the game!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

300 sucked ass

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Wanted to get you out of negatives because 300 was garbage. Watchmen was alright though.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 13

300 was almost unwatchable to me with all those slow mo action scenes. Ruined it.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

You sound sarcastic, but I actually really disliked both

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

Survive.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't even remember what happened in Watchmen, since the only thing I remember was being extremely bored through the entire thing.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Keep in mind that Watchmen very closely followed the comics themselves. Snyder wasn't writing the story, he was just putting it on film.

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 5

Because film adaptations are easy. /w

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Even then it could be argued that he kinda missed the point in some ways, e.g. the comic didn't glorify fight scenes the way most comics do.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Comic also showed that there was 1 guy with super powers and didn't have people punching through stone and making 14 foot vertical leaps

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why would that be a bad thing? The job isn't easier. "Damn him for being close to the source material! I wish he changed everything!"

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Because nobody ever criticized writers for not following source material /s

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, that's my point: Watchmen was pretty good (IMO) *because* he didn't stray from the comics. BvS and MoS had too much of his own design.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

You have no clue how much fucking work it took to create watchmen, do ya. "Just putting it on film", ha. Not how it works.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 10

actually having Clark *not* save his life when it was threatened by a tornado, just because "the world wasn't ready." It was stupid. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

He betrayed the character of Superman *and* Jonathan Kent by Jon tell Clark it would have been better to let those kids die, and then 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

And that's been precisely the problem with the latest movies he's directed: he had too much of a hand in the stories of BvS and MoS.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You're right, I clearly said, "Nobody worked hard on that film." Don't try and strawman me. All I said was that he didn't write the story.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Recreating watchmen as closely as he did is tenfolds more work than just a loose adaptations. So "just putting" is very misleading.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6
