I think everyone should do as us

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's stupid thing anyway. So disruptive to so many people.

I moved from Arizona to the east coast and I’ve had a very confusing day today...

Literally the first awkward GIF.

And Perth, Australia

I actually freaked out because my clock said 9:30p and everyone told me it was 10:30. I'm like Cortana, I live in fucking Arizona.

And soon to be Massachusetts too

Daylight savings is an archaic holdover from when artificial light was rarer and/or daily routines revolves around farming/hunting.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In AZ, I agree. Just another day for us.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We don't need to maximize daylight, that's what light bulbs are for. Conserving energy isn't that important either with modern bulbs.

Living in Hawaii, I forget about it as well until I see something about it on the internet.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I miss arizona for this reason alone... And family I guess.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With modern technology, I don't understand why we still do this.

We had a bill go through our committee on this and it was a shit show and I doubt it'll ever be overturned bc of the politics of it all 2/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'd rather have evening light than morning light. Most of us are barely awake enough to even appreciate it

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

It's complicated--federal act and its mess with foreign businesses. Not an easy thing to overturn. Worked in TX lege and 1/

Hawaii doesn't switch either.

Can confirm as a former AZ resident.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's one of the few things I miss about living there. That and my friends.

Let's get rid of this daylight savings BS. I hate when it's dark at 5:30pm. It causes Seasonal Affective Disorder. #theclockstopshere

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

It's the opposite in Australia, DST causes it to get dark at like 10pm. Annoying as fuck. Glad our state got rid of it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And the further north you go, the worse it is. Where do you live?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Literally did it a week ago in Sweden

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And Indiana.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Indiana follows Eastern Time and observes DST as of 2006. There are a few counties that differ and follow Central Time instead.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

? i thought we were all douched into dst not too long ago?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone from Saskatchewan, I'm with you buddy.

8 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

Saskatchewan isn't off DST, it's just ON it permanently.

What’s a sackshishkabob?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Exactly what it sounds like.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hello fellow Saskatchewanian!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well shit. That makes at least 3 of us

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My only problem is family trying to remind me to fix my clocks.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't get that. But people do call us gappers. As in we are the gap between Alberta and Manitoba.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How goes it in the Paris of the Prairies?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hahaha, Paris of the prairies. That's a new one. We just call my city The City of Bridges.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Saskatoon? Lovely little city. I've heard it referred to as both

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup, Saskatoon.
