Republicans know they're nazis. They do not have a problem with being Nazis, they are supremacists and they want to hurt you not for saying they're nazis, but because we say it as a derogative. They absolutely do not wonder why we keep calling them nazis. Nazis, it turns out, will gaslight people they feel they're superior to.
And they believe they're superior to us because they do not have empathy. They know they're evil, and it's by choice.

I am fan of freedom of speech. But imo I think illegal Nazi salutes are an acceptable limitation of that right.
Also I think that legally, the possession of Nazi paraphernalia should be as severe a crime as the possession of CSAM (which like, given how things are going if they have one, they likely have the other so...check them hard drives).

Imo I believe Nazi speech itself should be enough to constitute "Incitement of Violence" which is already illegal even under the first amendment, but what do I know? As a result, I was in Gainesville during several elections and noticed that there were loads of GOP banners plastered around the campus, but no Democratic ads. Greek row was particularly heavily slathered in right-wing junk.
