That picture makes me irrationally angry.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why am I upside down?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's with ol'Musky now...

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Though a lion battery would be a lot cooler.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I bet you can't PROVE that it's not actually a lion... I DARE YOU.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You mean to tell me those big white boxes don't each contain a lion?

8 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 0

They do. Each lion holds onto the electricity with their large paws until it's needed for the grid.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Oh no they totally do

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Lion (s) running in giant hampster wheels

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

has anyone ever thought that Aus is right way up and the rest of the world is upside down that would explain the batshit crazy politicians

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Nah, every 2 days we're basically we're discovering that a politician was in fact elected illegally 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

shh its NZ fault like me according to rules they making i'm dual, NZ and AUS

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2/2 (Not their fault in most cases, retroactive dual citizenships through family who weren't aware they were dual citizens)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

TBF though, *most* of them are assholes. feels bad about scott ludlam though I might have disagreed with him sometimes but he was a good guy

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sad side of this story: murdoch owned newspapers are trying to spin this as a waste of money. Liberal party distancing themselves 1/?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So that if another blackout happens they can Blame tesla for it, rather than dodgy coal plants and power grid. Public is being told that 2/?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Project is nothing but taxpayer money down thr drain, Australia is very technophobic right now and growing worse due to media monopoly. 3/3

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Only issue I have with it is people seeming to think it's holding a significant amount of power like it's a powerwall for the state. It/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

holds about 4 minutes worth of power for South Australia. It's a grid stabiliser not an energy storage device (from the grid POV)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It allows a ramp up of power production during peak hours to a degree without needing further infrastructure. It'll help, but its no miracle

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm from Adelaide and will soon be benefiting from it :)

8 years ago | Likes 113 Dislikes 1

I'm with the others.. believe it when I see it in our bills

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Our bills won't be cheaper, but hopefully we won't have blackouts over summer on peak days as frequent as before.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah Adelaide represent!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

“Benefitting”

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Omg other people from Adelaide commenting on Imgur #wtf

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Battery is cool and all, but like, I CAN’T BELIEVE THERES AT LEAST 5 OTHER PEOPLE FROM ADELAIDE ON IMGUR

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Here's another one.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Adelaidians unite!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

theres dozens of us! well maybe not dozens, a singular dozen maybe.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No you won’t. $10 says the state government sells the power as an export to another state

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 6

But it's a batterie, it doesn't even produce electricity. Also they would profit from exporting then.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Sssshhhh... Just take the bet. It's a free $10.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You cant use logic when validating government decisions.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

That's a totally irrational thing of you to say. Voltaire would be so disappointed.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What is there to do in Adelaide?

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Meth, Coke, all the good stuff ;)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Drink wine.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Visit the mighty black stump?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Meth.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Also, me.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You can start a drive to Melbourne

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

There's apparently a big black building that used to be the tallest building. Hello Internet podcast told me that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Huddle together as the entire state loses power because we have it bottlenecked into like one line and it get wrecked by some windy bois

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Isn't that ok because you only have 1 street anyway?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We've got a giant rocking horse, and a pair of giant metallic balls.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I walked past something like that, but it was a friday night and there was no one on the street, figured zombie apocalypse had started

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
