Tesla is a company that produces almost literally nothing. By far the fewest vehicles (and low quality at that), no actual products to speak of. In The modern economy, it's not profitable to "make" things, you generate hype around your "potential to make things" this brings in investors who have more money than god to blow on your business and you make your money. Now, as shadow president, he's got all the hype investment he needs. These sales decrease don't hurt him a bit
