I need to let my giftee know their gift might not make it before Christmas. I'm really excited to put together a package and I don't want them to be disappointed and think they're not getting anything if it doesn't make it in time.
So here are doggos that visited my office and caused severe delays in answering emails.

How many points are needed for someone to unlock messaging?

My SS is a YouTuber who didn't mind to fill any of the information required except his link. Such a tacky gesture imho and this is my 1st SS

I've been messaging my giftee... I just searched their username and sent them a message.

I set up a new acct to maintain anonymity until they get the gift, didn't realize about the points needed to msg until too late.

I gave you an upvote but you better send an awrsome gift to your match!

Thanks, I will do my best! My main problem is international shipping, there's no way a package will make it in time.

Guess that could explain why mine hasn't replied yet. FML

my recipient is still locked too. I didn't even think about it until this post. He seems like a busy nurse.

I’m so sorry, I just saw this. I’ve been working a lot and haven’t been on imgur in a few days ♂️

how do I get a secret santa?

Unfortunately, it's closed. You can be a back up gifter or wait until next year. Sometimes there's a Valentine's Day exchange, though.

Well single me will be signing up for the Valentines day one then! haha

Is the person we send to the same as the one we receive from? Asking for a friend.

no

No, different people!

whats the reason behind needing points to message people? why cant i just message someone and if they dont want to talk, then they dont

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

spam bots

They're trying to weed out people that sign up but, aren't active because, a lot of people sign up to get a gift but, never send one.

so the points thing is just for SS messaging and such? ill be honest ive never messaging anyone, just curious is all

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, it's for all messaging. It also helps prevent spam and bots which happened a lot.

I gotcha, makes sense now. thanks for clarifying freind.

reply or just inform admins?

To counter "Hey Sexy ;)" spambot messages, you need a minimum number of points to be able to send messages. [1/2]

Secret Santas want to maintain anonymity, so they set up secondary accounts to message, only to discover that they can't send any. [2/2]

that makes sense, thanks for clearing it all up. Side note though; are you the former army soldier turned secret serviceman and companion of

US Marshal Artemus Gordon Jim West?
