Stood there in 1997 with a beautiful Czech girl, when the British Army sent me. If you're out there Zuzi, thanks for teaching me to ski. x

I miss Prague... There is a five floor club nearby with an Ice Bar.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I liked the Golden Tree, the Globe bookstore and Radost.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My best tip for club in Prague is Roxy.

A great, beautiful city. While walking, eating and drinking your way around...he sure to notice the Soviet bullet holes left from 1968.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When it began, it was christened "the Prague Spring".

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was crushed mercilessly by our new buddies, the Russians. Earlier it happened in Hungary. Last year in Ukraine.

But hey, they say nice things about Donald.

Bloodborne is based off Lovecraft, so this is both.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I can tell you've never been to London. :)

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I've lived in Prague and I considered it extremely clean. London, not so much!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When I was there last, the air was horrible and the streets were filthy with trash. Was there a *MAJOR* cleanup in the last 8 years?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dunno, I lived there about 9 years ago lol! Seasonal/location thing maybe?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Around the train station in the middle of winter. *shrug*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't ask me...what you know is true...don't have to tell you...I love your precious heart

Charles bridge for anybody wondering, Prague is beautiful!

9 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

I couldn't get over the intense amount of tacky souvenir stores, Russian nesting dolls and the Thai massages. It was just odd

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

My husband proposed to me there. Beautiful city!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I was on university there. Never seen it this empty.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Going alone in summer, any non-obvious travel tips?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's what I thought. Such a beautiful and relatively inexpensive city.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Whats it actually like? All i know of it comes from video games >.>

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really beautiful indeed ! Can't wait to go back one day

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would not be able to cross that bridge without looking at the statues like "DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE!"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like that bridge from 3 with that terrifying skinless dragon.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

The one bridge where you sprint across or risk getting destroyed by that giant alligator dog?

9 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Kill it there or you'll have to fight it in an even more difficult spot

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They aren't that bad, they just punish the "stab em in the taint" tactic that works so well with most large beast type enemies.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Irithyll mate. I love fighting those outrider watchdogs so much

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Easy peasy

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Irythil of the boreal valley. But seriously the crocodile things are actually way too op.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Are way too OP" AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHA! Welcome to DkS.

Yeah, definitely Yharnam during the blood moon!

I always posed and looked up at the pretty skies after beating bosses, cuz PS4 takes screenshots when u get trophies. Got sum cool shots lol

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

And dark souls 3

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My GF and I think this is actually at dawn. Not enough tourists for sunset.

9 years ago | Likes 247 Dislikes 3

Truth. That and the light source is in the east here.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Building on left is Muzeum Karlova, on the north side of the Karluv Most, therefore camera is on west side of bridge looking east, ergo dawn

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I lived there, in the Autumn, nearly wintertime, most of the tourists are gone and you get these beautiful scenes to yourswlf

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're right, that's Charles Bridge and the tower is on its east end.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Def at dawn, theres another photographer there with a tripod. They'll usually get up for pictures like these

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree, if it were sunset far more people would be out.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that is looking eastward, so there's that too ;-)

9 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

just worked that out as i read this.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

At first, I was skeptical, so I found this bridge in Google Earth. It is, indeed, a sunrise.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There are no people because the photo was taken with a long exposure

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

There.... There are people in the photo...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Sorry to burst your bubble, but longer exposure times don't magically remove people from the photo.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I think he used multiple exposures to remove people (and fucked up by using average instead of mean and thereby creating a bunch of ghosts).

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think @OP is right, look at the color spectrum. The wavelengths are effected by the Doppler effects the same way a car horn is (1/2)

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

No, this picture is facing East. So it is a sunrise.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or its multiple pictures overlapped to eventually remove the people you can see people ghosting out

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

No, redshift and blueshift don't become noticable until you approach the speed of light.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

High pitch as it comes at you, lower as it leaves. Red is a longer wavelength, which is why sunset is red, sunrises are greens and blue.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

You're right. I never even thought about that.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

He is wrong, so don't remember that. It has nothing to do with Doppler. It's about scattering by the gas molecules in the atmosphere.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes that what breaks the light. However the Doppler effect will have a small influence on the perceived frequency of the light depending >

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You are wrong. It has nothing to do with the Doppler effect. It has to do with scattering in the atmosphere.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"sunrises are greens and blue" wait what

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's long exposure, as evident by faint silhouettes to the left. Could be plenty of people around.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Ah no. The Charles Bridge is swamped with people after 9 am till very late in the evening. It would've been obvious.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I see 12 people in that pic alone. Kinda lot for a morning, no?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not really, since it's so busy later on you basically can't see the Bridge through the crowd of people...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Huh, learned something new today, I guess.
