As an RN, this actually keeps the bone aligned, which reduces muscle spasms (super painful) until surgery can permanently fix it. Works well

That was me in 1977. Different leg, same type of traction. My left leg is still 1" shorter than right. back problems now. Good luck

You'll limp for close to a year. I've had my rod in for 4 years now. Hardly any limp and no pain at all.
