"Sorry" from Canada, Send Cats and Pickup lines.

The 928 one from Jeremy really got me when I first watched it.

Love old Top Gear UK. New hosts suck, and Top Gear US always sucked.

Has it gotten better since the split?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's good, but not better. They need to work out some kinks. Feels like they are desperately trying not to offend anyone which was the charm

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

bleep bleep manual bleep

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like GT, but old Top Gear will always be my favorite.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean, lego is pretty much the danish landmine.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Grand Tour!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haven't seen new top gear, but I'm not impressed by Grand Tour, seems forced and fake, like they've been kidnapped and told to remake TG

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I feel like when everything gets a huge ass budget it loses its quirks and the simple things people loved.TGT is good, but needs improvements

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I need a guy who'll spend Saturday nights in watching TG or GT with me.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hate this dickhead of Clarkson but damn he's fucking funny

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 5

He is such a dickhead and deserved to be sacked. Funny though, still a dickhead.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I'd love some badge

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know nothing about and have no real interest in cars and Top Gear is by far a favourite of mine... Not the new one!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

amazing!! Also you dropped something...

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

OP:What?

A lot of Badge!!! cracks me up everytime

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The new Top Gear? Oh, you mean The Grand Tour!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No new Top Gear, the car show not poorly scripted easy to consume garbage like GT and last few years of old Top Gear

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Grand Tour is pretty good though!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think anybody thought the new cast would be as good as those 3, but at least it's another show about cars. Way better than 90% of tv

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So glad I have Amazon Prime so I can watch Clarkson and the boys on The Grand Tour!!!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Every time I read about Clarkson doing 180 up to see his dying dad, I think how he could have caused other needless deaths on the way there.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

As an American from the south, these fellows have imbued what most of us think Englishmen really are like. Frankly, we are impressed

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was told The Grand Tour would be just as good as old Top Gear. It's good but not as good. And it feels more scripted

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

I like to think they're still finding their groove with the Grand Tour and the future seasons will be better... I hope

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All of their banter feels like it was written by someone else, and they poorly read it off a cue-card. Top gear felt way more natural.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's probably as good actually as the original top gear was going downhill with each series.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It'll probably get more relaxed in later seasons. And maybe they'll get rid of the tumou- i mean american.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Get rid of The American and that stupid special guest dying every week thing as well. Fingers crossed S2 of new TG will be better than S1

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

They really need a new Stig.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tbh, it was p funny the first time. But i do hope they don't beat it like a dead horse.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Quite a few things they done was funny the first time but after that.........

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn that porsche story

9 years ago | Likes 95 Dislikes 1

That's one of my all time favorite episodes, you should check it out!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is it the Patagonia special?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, it is!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can only get better now that they've got rid of Chris fucking Evans though. Dunno about good, but better.

9 years ago | Likes 328 Dislikes 3

Some think they chose him planning to fire him after the first season all along, to make whoever they chose next seem amazing in comparison.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm a fucking idiot and thought you were talking about Captain America Chris Evans.

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Well I guess we'll find out this evening.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All jokes aside.... THE FEELS....

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 7

Sauce if you want to have all the feels https://youtu.be/QfAWixMKwEA

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

We know. We saw it. In the OP. No need to tack it onto the top comment.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Yep, agreed, The Grand Tour will be always better, If only it was on TV

9 years ago | Likes 135 Dislikes 4

I didn't like that the show kept using same jokes over and over. But it was good still.

9 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

I really liked TGT but i thought their conversations felt too scripted

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well both are called scripted reality shows so..

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Need to drop the celebrity brain crash

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Agreed. Was funny for the first 2 and after that just felt very repetitive and rehearsed

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was a play on BBC threatening to sue if they copied the format of Top Gear. It will be gone next season.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

And the American, hes so annoying and not funny.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

They've already said that they all hate it.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

And 'The American' stig replacement

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If I didn't already have Prime, I would never have watched GT. Probably I would actually. Just would have to get it the Aarrrrd way.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Or you could sign up for the free trial. Just remember to cancel. I think you can get more time/lower regular rates if you're a student.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That 928 story gets me everytime

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It says 170 MPH but when he really say it did he say MPH or KPH?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Said not say

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I watched it last night, he says 170 mph. Crazy fast...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The new Top Gear is as good as the old one, its called "Grand Tour" and is on Amazon Prime. Some of the bits are reused a bit much though.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Everyone knows this surely? Except it's terrible.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

As good is a stretch.Much too scripted. Feels like they are doing their best to keep a controlled environment by keeping a wild dog on leash

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Shooting down the drone and the celebrity death specifically.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

New Top Gear: proof why producers and writers deserve more credit than they're due. Talking about the ones from original.

9 years ago | Likes 160 Dislikes 3

Richard Porter. Read "And on that bombshell"

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

One of the producers from the original deserved a punch to the head

9 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 2

Which orginal? 2002 or 1977?

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 8

2002

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

no one ever seems to remember that jeremy james and richard was a reboot, not the original

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeap

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And the jermary/james/richard was the second line up, from the 2003 series 2. The orginal trio was Clarkson, Hammond and Jason Dawe...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

1977?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

top gear launched in 1977 iirc, and ran till 2001. Then one of the presenters, a J Clarkson went to the BBC to relaunch it as a magazine 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

program in 2002. That is "new top gear", so the last series (with evens) is new, new top gear...
