So, it looks like this is about 3m high per level, 12 levels which is 36m vertical. It's also approximately 25m in diameter, which means you need to walk (25 • π • 12) 942m to get up/down.

That's San Siro stadium in Milan!! Cool

Upvote for the title. Well played, OP

Yours is the drill that will pierce the heavens!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If anyone wants to know. That is the San Siro football stadium in Milan Italy. They help you get up to the top sections. Surround the whole stadium and are exhausting haha

Would be great in a zombie movie

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ok my brain does not want to accept the fact that the structure isn't moving

Life hack - if you jump from the top, you get to skip the line.

I'd invest in a hamster ball

I’d puke before I got to the bottom.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was hoping for a drill that would pierce the heavens!

Roll 50 kegs from the top of the ramp & have a party at the bottom .

Surplus wheelchair from a Thrift store. Buy a ton of old linen for the brake pad.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Like 20 years ago some hooligans went up the ramps with a stolen moped, set it on fire, and dumped it on the stands beneath....

It's a bit crowded, but if everyone stays to the left...

This needs to be in the next Tony Hawk game.

2 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

Are they still doing those?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The latest one was the Tony Hawk remake of the first two games, unless I'm mistaken. It released in 2020

It would be fun to get into one of those rollerblade suits, and luge the whole way down. I'll get tired of constantly turning and cheesegrate my body against the wall halfway down. X-TREME!

it is currently in my 360 ready to go in the other room. ahhh that startup screen when the music starts.... perfection

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I should really get a 360, its my childhood but I never owned one myself, always played at friends' places

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

About a 30-minute walk to get to the bottom?

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

if you crawl, sure. closer to 12 mins at the pace most folks are walking.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's by design; elongated exit-ways to prevent congestion and risk of stampedes. Also, no gate mechanics or other moving parts that could break down, nor need for mechanical ventilation along the route, just the minimum of exit lights with UPS backup - very clever, actually.

San Miro stadium in Milan and I am ashamed to say it seats less than the flagship university American football stadium, in my state. The university stadium seats about 20,000 more.

2 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 5

They'd be better off investing all that money into giving people an education instead of a few people playing American hand-egg

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It used to hold around 84k people some years ago, now it’s fewer for security reasons :)

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Bigger ain't always better.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But you don’t get to see top football.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I knew it! I'm like, I've skated this I think. Thank you, I've definitely skated these at 2am while getting off work running lights for WWE wrestlemania in 2012. Those were the best of times, these are the worst of times.

San Siro

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*San Siro or Meazza (it depends if Milan or Inter plays) 8th biggest stadium in Europe for capacity (about 80k). Ashamed for what?

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That a public university has it's priorities so out of whack.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Fair enough. Biggest stadium in Italy not as big as the university one, pretty weird.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why ashamed? 76.000 seated is not bad:

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Ashamed that my States university is really just a football program with a school attached bb

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Now I understand. Is it really that bad, or is it a good uni, just not as good as the stadium?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I mean, it's really not a bad university AND football programs are generally profit centers, not money drains. But it's just ridiculous how out if control our sports programs are.

silo: the prologue

Thought the same thing

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just started the first book a couple of days ago, got it on Audible without knowing anything about it, or that it's a tv show. I dig it so far.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

All is done in the 1st chapter of the first book. What comes after don't really work. The 2nd book "silo origin" is a painfull non-sense. Throw it away, go to Metro 2033 34 35.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Just finished the last book, enjoyed the whole trilogy.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I just finished the trilogy a couple days ago. It's a really fascinating story. The only thing I'll say thats not a spoiler is it's pretty much depressing from start to finish.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

how is that show? I see a lot of rave reviews but they said the same thing for s02 of the mandalorian

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Better in every way than that silly kids show.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The story is a good mystery, I really enjoyed the performances from the whole cast and it’s just a good looking show as well

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So dull and generic, can't get passed episode 6. Seems crazy as so much to work with, but they manage zero humour

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i read the books and i wanted to watch the show but, like you, i have my reservations but i also heard good shit about it

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just finished it. It was really good. I am starting the book now.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a book reader, I liked both. The show is different but I think the guy that wrote it is consulting on the screenwriting. The show still feels like the same world as the book, but slight deviations in the characters and storyline. The overall story is unique and they have a great cast

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I liked it. My boyfriend liked it. The guy at work that I mentioned it to liked it. You might like it. Different strokes for different folks though, so I don’t like to hype things up to others. I would recommend as worth giving it a go if it’s a genre you enjoy.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I give it a solid B. I think the acting, sets, and photography are fantastic, my biggest issue is the drama is played up too much at times. If you like the Foundation, or His Dark Materials, I think you'll enjoy it as much or more than I did.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

For reference, as a whole Mandolorian is C+ for me, Andor is an A. Episodes of Mando span D to A, while I think Andor eps span B to A, and Silo eps are also B to A.
