Wifey has been a bit worried about him since his big sister was born underweight. Last growth scan they told her he's actually 'At the larger end of normal size'. So he's OK, but now she's even more nervous about the birth. When she told me she was feeling torn, I joked that she will be come the due date, and immediately realised I might have gone too far. Luckily my dark sense of humour seems to be rubbing off on her.
She had morphine last time, but it had just worn off when they started her stitches. To be fair, I had to sit on an uncomfortable stool with no back while they did it, so she's not the only one that suffered!

Today’s word: Episiotomy. Google: definition = yes, images = read definition first.

You poor Bastard!!!! You had a part in making the baby too! You don't deserve the treatment they gave you.

Head size matters most. I met wife's doc for our first kid, doc yelled "Holy shit look at the size of his head!" with a scared look to wife.

She likes the idea of that even less, wants to be up and about (and home) the day after.

wow, sorry you have to go through this, brother. See if they will let you bring a chair from home next time.

Worst thing is, there was a comfy chair on the other side of the room, but the medical staff were too 'busy' to let me get past!

Wow, such selfless sacrifice, I am inspired. Thoughts and prayers to the OP.
