My bloodline ends on this day

May 4, 2023 6:27 AM

I've been waiting 8 months for this, now the day is here and, I'm nervous as hell. I read the pamphlet on how they will do it.

My biggest concern is the needle going in to my sack to numb everything.

I'm not regretting or getting cold feet, just nerves.

Edit: 6 hours after the procedure now.
I feel no pain what so ever. The wife was kind and quickly took me to a supermarket to buy briefs.

The worst part after, honestly, was the constant farting.

I took 1 neurofren for a small stinging pain as the anaesthetic wore off and had a nap. Just woke up feeling no discomfort or pain of any kind.

there comes a time when you don't wanna have any more kids or any kids at all, they're a huge responsibility You'll have time to play video games have lotsa sex and travel 🧳

Look it's going to hurt when they stick the needle in, it goes away quickly though. Stick it out (sorry) and look toward that end goal it really isn't as bad as you think all told. Frozen peas in a towel for later as when the anaesthetic wears off it'll feel like you've been kicked in the balls, this is normal and it lasts a few days so rest up and let it heal. You got this.

Just remember, soon it will be all Twinkies instead toaster strudel.

Sack lobotomy

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Did it30 years ago, never regretted it. I had the cut a section, tie off AND cauterize.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I believe I'm getting the electrical cauterization.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I got mine last week. If you’re down for more than a two days I’d be shocked.

Get a few bags of Peas

Congrats.

So you can screw around without having to worry about surprises. Nice.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Ah, no. There'll still be surprises, though smaller in size but larger in quantity.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

not surprises you have to wait 9 months for at least anyway

The first shot on each side hurts a lot. The surgery takes about 45 mins. Recovery is pretty quick. Not having to worry about birth control is amazing. Good luck! It's rad that you are making responsible reproductive decisions.

I barely felt any of the shots. I was done in 20-30 minutes.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's awesome. Both of my shots absolutely sucked. I'm glad you're feeling good!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You'll be alright. Just listen to the doc. Mine was brutal but I'm in the minority of people.

I'm getting a hysterectomy on the 24th. Gonna transform these gonads into the nonads I've always deserved B)

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

It will be fine! Had it done 2 years ago. Severed my line seeing I have brothers that have kids. You walk funny for a few days and the plumbing is back to normal after about a week. Then comes the fun part. You get to schedule times to make deposits so they can check for any swimmers. I also had an audience watching the procedure. Doc and two attractive PAs. "So what are you two doing after this..."

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I know a few guys who have had it done and they were back at work operating heavy machinery the next day. Dont fret.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Do Not Do This. Voice of experience.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah. I actually needed a few extra days off. Everyone heals differently. Listen to your doctor and, most importantly, listen to your junk. You're ready when you're ready.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The numbing is over pretty quick, but it does sting for a second. Other than that, it's a breeze.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

pro tip: scare the doc by wanting to see what they are doing. it's actually quite interesting

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I did this, propped myself up to watch I got bored lying there.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

you can't nut for a couple of days so what else is there

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Definition of macho: jogging home from your vasectomy.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I went out shopping for briefs and snacks after.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

After his vasectomy, my dad had three more kids.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

It didn't stop the kids, just changed the colour

Story time?

the only discomfort you get is when they pull the tubes after they are cut to tie them off. i was walking normally after. wife thought 1/2

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

i had not had it done. had a testicular biopsy before that and that was painful. was walking like john wayne.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mine was brutal. I had to pull over. It was like my nuts were in a vise for 2 days, barely walk for a week, then I ended up with PVPS. It's not always peaches and cream

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3rd week after mine. Spend the next few days in a recliner with bags if peas and ibuprofen. Lots of swelling, but it goes away soon enough.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Put peas on for 20 minutes after I got home. Took 1 neurofren when I started to feel a small stinging. 6 hours after now, and I don't really feel any pain at all.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was day2 for me that the sourness really kicked in

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's what I'm expecting. Got some hard over the counter pain reliefs ready.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope super easy quick and doesnt really hurt after just remember you are not immediately shooting blanks

6 months out from mine, just had my 2nd sample tested, still have some boys in there. Another 3 month and I get tested again

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Also get checked up after a while to make sure it doesn't reverse itself.

Remember to clear the chamber after ejecting the mag, one can say. You don’t want a negligent discharge resulting in a gain of life.

Well done.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So dry fire a few times before going to full battle stations?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm 6 months out from mine and I still have some in there, they test you every 3 months till you show no boys

I had my primary give me a couple Valium to take before the procedure. It helped with the nerves. It's not that bad. I definitely recommend getting more than one jockstrap and maybe don't cheap out. Alternatively, as silly as it might sound look for some "bulge enhancing" underwear on Amazon or something. It's basically underwear with a nice pocket for the jewels. Much softer and less prone to chaffing. Can pair well with a jockstrap if you don't find it supportive enough.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Too late for that. It's happening in an hour. I did put on my tightest boxers today that offers, some semblance of support.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good luck! Would definitely recommend at the least maybe having a partner/friend/family member at least going to like Walmart or a sporting goods place and grabbing the jockstrap. Trust me the extra support helps a lot. It was actually in my Doctor's recovery instructions to wear one for two weeks.

We went and got some briefs. 6 hours after now I feel no pain at all. Not even discomfort. I have been snoozing since, so maybe that will change when I get up to go to the bathroom!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Glad to hear you are doing well. Hope that it continues to be easy going!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So do I!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

welcome to the club

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I joined this year

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hope it won't be bad. I think the worst part is the wife having to allow me to lie down for 24 hours to recover :D

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

that was the best part

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm hoping to convince her to buy me some snacks so I can just go to bed with my phone, charger, snacks, drink and binge star wars.
